What would your companions say if asked why they follow you?

I was just writing my opinion on the different characters in another thread when this question occurred to me.

Let's say it's a little while before the Siege of Crossroads Keep. Someone or the PC goes around asks all their companions (and even others if you want) why they follow the PC?

What do you think they would say, if you had high influence with them or low influence?

I'll post my own opinion in a day or two but it'll be interesting to see what people think their companion's motivations are.

High Influence Khelgar: She's been my friend through thick and thin. We have each others' backs and will to the bitter end.

High Influence Neeshka: No one else has ever taken me seriously or treated me with respect. She doesn't judge, and is just as sly as me!

High Influence Elanee: She respects the wilds and usually does the right thing. Sometimes I'll need to steer her toward making the right choice, and she is way too quick to let Khelgar and Neeshka get their way, but we get along.

Low Influence Qara: What a b****! Leaving me behind--always rolling her eyes at me! She thinks she's sooo special! I should burn this whole keep to the ground...

Average Influence Sand: She's kinder than smarter, enjoys lying a tad too much, and has an adder's tongue. I'll help until this King of Shadows trouble is over. Then it's back to my shop.

Average Influence Casavir: A lovely lady of dubious character. The way she flirts with that vile ranger and the tricks she has played while acting as Knight Commander perplex me. She has the potential to become a great heroine, but indulges in base behavior too often. I shall find another cause to champion once this evil is vanquished.

High Influence Grobnar: Buddy! *Performs a duet with the KC after regaling peasants with tales of the Wendersnaven together*

High Influence Shandra: *Claws her way out from under the earth, and spits soil out of her mouth before speaking* Braaaains... *Gives a thumbs up*

Average Influence Ammon: Frivolous and idealistic, but I believe she will do what is required. For now, our goals align.

Average Influence Zhjaeve: I know she will correct this great wrong... as soon as she stops making funny faces behind my back...

Low Influence Bishop: *snorts* Thinks way too highly of herself. I won't let her keep bossing me around forever. One of these days...

Construct: Finish building me already! What do you mean you can't return to the area where my missing pieces are located?! FUUUUU! *creaks uselessly in the corner, amidst various piles of scrolls and scrap metal*

High Influence Kalach-Cha: I am *SO* awesome...

My only time through the OC I played a female "battle cleric", with emphasis on melee combat/damage spells rather than buffing/curing. By that point in the game I had settled on Khelgar, Neeshka and Casavir, not using anyone else unless the story forced them on me. Since I had carefully cultivated their friendship, I had high influence with all of them.

Casavir: "I love you, 'Stasi, don't you realize that?
Khelgar: "Yer a good leader, know how t' handle a fight 'n' get us out in one piece. Aye, an' ye don't mind fighting up front wi' me, getting yer hands dirty and busting heads. An', ye don't think I'm daft fer wantin' t' be a monk. An' keepin' that tiefling out o' me purse."
Neeshka: "You've treated me right despite what I am and don't let the others pick on me. Not that I can't handle 'em, o' course, but you're the first one who's ever trusted me. That, and with you as leader we're making really good coin!"

Khelgar "I like big butts, I can not lie, you other dwarves can't deny..."
