I don't really dislike anyone, characterization-wise and whatnot (Mordin and Kasumi are my faves, for realsies! ) . So this list is based upon who I get the most use out of in combat.

Garrus/Kasumi/Legion/Mordin/Kaidan: These guys see about the same amount of mission time. Well, except for Legion... but he would if he were available from the start without using mods. Kaidan's here because he and Garrus were my homies in ME1, dig?

Zaeed/Tali/Wrex: They don't see quite as much combat as the first group, but they'll get thrown in every so often for the sake of variance. Wrex usually takes Kaidan's place during the endgame in playthroughs that I've killed Kaidan off... like in my canon run. Tali was never in my squad in ME1, though. Ever.

Everyone else, sans Morinth: Usually only come with me on their Loyalty missions or if I'm feeling them at that particular moment. I've never recruited Morinth.

Err... It seems I love the guys (assuming Legion count as a guy?), not very feminist of me:pinched:.. Actually I like Kasumi alot but OP asked to keep her and Zaeed out ( also love him!)
Btw I don't really dislike anyone.. Miri is last only because I don't care for her ass  But I like her anyway

Samara - 12 to 10... I've come around to really appreciate her character. I don't agree with much of her views, but I do really like "who" she is.
Liara 16 to 12... while I hate how BW has made her their "special" asari, in-game, I've grown to like her a lot more. She's actually kinda fun. Now if only I could get rid of her bummy VA.

Garrus - 6 to 13... I've come around to feel he's a lot like how I viewed Jacob for a while - I gave him too much credit for just being "that one nice guy" and not realizing he isn't anything much more. At this point I feel like he's too much buddy-buddy without actually having those moments that's close friends have with each other (what's pushed Liara up my list as of late, what makes Kaidan and Wrex rank as high as they do). There are things to like about him for sure, but at this point I'm feeling like he's being reduced to a mere "buddy" character.

(Then a bunch of people have also moved around by default).

It's hard to give them all a complete order. Garrus has always been my favorite, with Wrex in second place (because I don't have the DLC - otherwise, Zaeed would be second and Kasumi  would probably be seventh), and Morinth is last. I never liked Liara or Ashley, but Kaidan's place on this list gets moved around a lot depending on which game I made the list for. I went with ME3 for this one and took the spoilers into account. But I don't even know with some of these... Grunt got third place because he's fun and I bring him around a lot, but #3-5 are so close to a tie. Miranda also moved up quite a bit since ME2's release.

Of course, these are just my favorites. I don't think any squadmate can really be called "best" or "worst".

That means you won't be able to get the ME3 DLC squadmate either! That's sad.

I'm just hoping the new spoiler squadmate I want most isn't the one who will be DLC. D: I wanted to bring Garrus and him/her/it everywhere on my first playthrough.

Do we know for sure who the DLC squadmate will be yet?

Yes, that's the one I was talking about. I'll have to hope for the best then, and if that character does turn out to be DLC, it will just be a longer wait for me. The DLC squadmates will be mine eventually.

It's too bad though. This would make two squadmates likely to be in my top three who won't be around for a few playthroughs.
