Which Warden Origin would Diplomatic/Sarcastic/Aggressive Warrior/Rogue/Mage Hawke be more willing to get along with?

I suppose that Hawke would get along well with his/her cousin, Amell/human mage origin. Other than that... I don't know. Depending on how you play him/her, Hawke could get along or not get along with pretty much every origin.

Mage Hawke doesn't even get along with her own brother, so I'm not sure about that. As far as the Warden goes, I think this is a really specific question to each player. Generally, I play both of them the same: open minded, tactful, willing to help, loyal to friends, abrupt to enemies, occasionally a witty or sarcastic remark thrown in**. I think they would get along just fine.

** As far as humor goes, I find playing a diplomatic Hawke with the occasional humorous or charming (mask/gem/purple) response to give the best results. Generally, it turns out to be a humorous remark, rather than an insult or something that is inappropriate for the situation.

I think the Warden would get on pretty well with a Hawke who romanced Merrill. Assuming it didn't lead to the rest of the Dalish being slaughtered.

As for the dialogue personality thingies, the Warden can usually fall into a diplomatic/humorous/aggressive category, so it would depend on what one they are in, compared to Hawke. My main Warden for instance would be diplomatic with a splash of snark, while my main Hawke is mostly humorous, so I think they'd get along. Especially because they're both mages. My own Dalish would get along badly with an aggressive Hawke, I think. She'd see it as an example of human pig-headedness.

It probably depends more on choices than dialogue though, considering Hawke and the Warden can have varied personalities, regardless of origin.

My Mage Hawke would not get along with my Human Noble Warrior Warden at all. My Wardens a andrastian templar supporter, My Hawke is an athiest Mage supporter. My Warden is diplomatic and generally friendly to everyone, My Hawke is Agressive and only helps people when it suits him.

Anyway yeah my Warden and my Hawke are pretty much completely different

Well, that depends entirely on how they're played. Of my Wardens and Hawkes who exist in the same universe ...

Aleyna Cousland and Morgan Hawke: diplomatic rogue meets agressive warrior. They're both bascially good people, so I think they'd become friends despite their different approaches. Aleyna would insist on doing all the talking if they were in the same party. Of all my hypothetical Warden/Hawke combinations I think these two would get along the best. They could discus falling in love with royalty! (Although that didn't ultimately work out so well for Morgan.)

Bran Amell and Abigail Hawke: Ruthless blood mage Warden meets sarcastic force mage Hawke. Abigail doesn't hold with blood magic and dealing with demons, so she probably wouldn't like her cousin. Mutual snarkiness would ensue. They would be amused to find that they're both in love with male elves - maybe that runs in the Amell family too.

Kael Aeducan and Lucas Hawke: Alas, these two could not meet because the Warden nobly sacrificed herself. If they did, though, I guess they'd be all right. Kael is (well, was) more pragmaticly inclined than this diplomatic rogue Hawke, but they could work together for a mutual goal.

Runar Brosca and Dana Hawke: Oh, boy, this would not go well. Runar is a greedy, murderous rogue. Dana is diplomatic warrior and a devoted Andrastian. Within five minutes of their first meeting Runar would stab someone with his murder knife and Dana would attempt to lop his head off for great justice.

Lyris Mahariel and Susannah Hawke: This would probably go quite well, up to a point. Sarcastic blood mage Hawke would remind Lyris of his beloved Morrigan - they even have the same hairstyle! - but since she's a lesbian there's no risk that she'd seduce him away from the mother of his child. She's dating his old friend Merrill, and is sympathetic to the plight of elves. They'd be getting along fine ... except then Lyris would find out that Susannah butchered his entire clan to protect her lover, and the proverbial would truly hit the fan.

It depends on the actions that the warden has made considering that all wardens are different.
But my warrior cousland who is.. well ( light side) would get along well nicely with (light side) hawke.

my warden would be the one who leads the party and hawke will follow.

I'm just thinking that it's pretty likely that a Dalish Warden would not get along with Hawke. Even if you manage to choose the best response for Merill's quest (which I don't think most people do on their first run through without guides), their Keeper is still gone, and their people broken, and despite the Dalish Warden likely arranging space for their people, they ended up having to stay in the barren north due to the danger of the demon Merill stirred.

(Admittedly, most of it's not Hawke's fault: Hawke never gets a 'No, demon badddd, your attempts to dance around the price of blood magic are also baaaad, and I am saddened and ashamed by your choices and we are going to work to get you back to your Clan where you and your people would both be happier and get you treatment to get over this blood magic addiction. (You too, Anders! No blood magic and no being an abomination on my watch!)

But the Warden doesn't know that, they just know that their Keeper is dead, and more likely their clan is dead, because of a single girl who Hawke's been harboring friendship with. And, while my Hawke's have always been pretty damn badass, I'd be more afraid of the Warden.)

Hawke and my dalish warden would have a....Complicated relationship. My Dalish Warden had no issue with blood magic and fully supported Mage rites, but at the same time merrill is screwing around with the same mirror that tainted her and killed Tamlen, and hawke is encouraging her. To make matters more complicated The Keeper is handling the whole situation very poorly (In my dalish warden's opinion, merrill shouldn't have started working on it but the keeper let it go on for too long and just made things worse) So she would probably actually try to talk down her clan from attacking Merrill, provided she was actually in the fight that got the keeper killed, if she was outside with the rest of the clan she probably would have joined with them.

Really by the end of the game the problems with her clan and Ander's actions would pretty much cause her to just collapse in a corner somewhere because so much has gone wrong with her family and one of her best friends.

Keeping it within their universes.

My diplomatic, practical, calculating Queen Rebecca would probably be amused by sarcastic mage Hawke but truly astonished at her inability to GET THINGS DONE. Open and trusting Miranda would be put off by Rebecca's cool attitude. They could learn a lot from each other but wouldn't be able to get past the first impressions to try.

Serena Amell would have got on with a circle Bethany much more than aggressive/sarcastic FREEDOM!!! rogue Hawke Marian. However both of them found themselves making decisions they never thought they would because of circumstances beyond their control i.e. side with the templars when a ROA is called.
Not friends but Serene would be the friend of her sister's that Marian thought was alright. And Serena...would like Marian's library.

Laid back and kind Ranel Surana would find diplomatic but strict Alys Hawke amusing for the most part, like he finds many people. He would be rather disturbed by her blindspot for Merril's blood magic though.

Aedan Cousland and Cara Hawke would get along quite well. They're both the same kind of goody-two-shoes person, and they both have a thing for tortured souls, haha! (Aedan romanced Morrigan and Cara romanced Fenris, hence the tortured souls thing) They also both support mage rights-- Cara a little moreso because she is a mage.

Male Rogue Brosca would get along fine with Male Mage Hawke. Both are diplomatic and mostly selfless, though Brosca has made some decisions in the past Hawke would question. They share similar views on mages, though Brosca would never approve of Hawke's LI being a blood mage, and would probably be torn over whether or not to kill Anders for being an abomination.

My Warrior Cousland Queen would not get along as well with my Female Agressive Hawke. Queen Elissa is a master of diplomacy who has very traditional Fereldan views (though she's a bit more open-minded about mages) and does what is best for her Kingdom while Hawke is rather rude and selfish. Elissa would recognize Hawke's skill, however, and probably hire her if in need of a mercenary.

It would be interesting. I kept feeling like my Hawk was "cleaning up" messes that my Wardens had left behind even if he wasn't always aware of that. However, in the end, Hawk manages to start something that's going to either tarnish the Warden's legacy or be a mess that he has to clean up in turn.

They are both from same family and mages :) With many differences. Severus Amell has compassionate, honorable and selfless character. In every time he did what seems like best choice to minimally harm the people, but he trusted Morrigan with Dark Ritual and he went through Eluvian.
On the contrary, Nicolas Hawke is in most times a cynical **** and full of contradiction. Anybody asked for help, he agreed, but for price, but Nick tried to do everything more or less right as his cousin. Very anti-Quanari, so he sided with Petrice against them. Blood magic and such is a nothing for him. Knowledge is a power, so he hadnt problem with love to Merrill.

Ha! It would difintely depend on which Warden and Hawke we are talking about. I know I'm not the only one with vastly different playthroughs of each... Some would be best buds, others mortal enemies. XD

But my personal canon/main Warden and Hawke would get along quite nicely and I made them that way on purpose. I'm holding out hope that they'll meet and work together in a future game.

Warden: Phoebe Amell.
Female mage. A born leader. Sarcastic and humorous. Surprisingly savvy about the world, considering she's lived her whole life in a tower. Flirty. Cynical and jaded when it comes to religion, but she isn't going to judge anyone on their beliefs (she romanced Alistair and is bffs with all of her gang, even BOTH Leliana and Morrigan). 100% Paragon (yeah I know thats ME... oh, shaddup).

Champion: Grace Hawke.
Pro-mage female Warrior. Would much rather be someone's Second than to lead herself. Diplomatic, occasionally humorous in a dorky way. Protective big sister, with all of her friends, not just Bethany. Naive and often misses important details. A big believer in forgiveness. Is uncertain when it comes to religion; she wants to believe in something bigger than herself, but can't abide by a religion or philosophy that would subjugate her sister (or anyone else). 100% Goody-goody.

In my mind, they'd get along quite well. Their humor would click and I can see that resulting in hilarious wtf moments. The Warden would lead and Hawke would be relieved to let the bigger descisions fall to her. Hawke would also take the Warden and her party members into her protectorate... she has a thing for defending everyone around her. They would also both be on the same side of the mage-templar war, but they would strive for a diplomatic solution together. There might be friction where Merril is concerned though, my Warden would take a tough-love stance, whereas Hawke takes the much kinder friendship approach.

My warden would love the joker hawke I have.

Warden likes snarky mages so no issues for my canon runs.
