Is it possible to resist knockdowns with high enough fortitude?
I just completed a 2h warrior playthrough and while beating Corypheus was no problem, the dps portion of the fight had Hawke getting chain knockdowned with Izzy, Merrill and Anders following us trying to get damage in. Too slapstick!
When I fought Cory, I had about 80 fort and the knockback immunity ring. Thanks!

Well knock back immunity doesn't help vs knockdown.
I'm guessing mechanics-wise it is possible, but I suspect these bosses/their skills have a very high force multiplier, designed for knocking you down no matter what.

Yep. My mage has 80 Fort and he still got tossed around by Cory. I was getting pissed.

There are some rings that have knockdown/knockback/stun immunity, which should help.
There are some boss fights where stuns and etc. are supposed to happen no matter what, but it couldn't hurt to have them.

Hmm...no knockdown immunity, but these rings are useful still for stun+knockback immunity. I'm sure there's a belt or amulet with knockdown immunity, if not a piece of armor.
