 So if you could leave ANY squadmate to be blown by a nuke, instead of Kaidan or Ashley who would that be? Just keep in mind, that if it would be Liara, there would be no ME 2 or 3 for Shepard, but that is an exceptable choice too. =)

mmm...that leaves wrex, garrus, tali, or liara.

The only one that doesn't affect to much the history in ME2 is Garrus, but he is a brother in arms with Shepard. So, sorry Tali, but I'm a bit tired of the talking quarianpedia.

Tali. I'd save Ashley in a heartbeat, and even though I like Tali, I love Ash more.
You know, being a tech expert, it makes sense that she could be left with the bomb. More sense than Kaidan or Ashley, anyways.

Well in ME1 the Virmire sacrifice is out of my favourite two characters, I would love to have had the option to have them both stay alive. But tbh, the fact it was out of them gave the scene a bigger impact for me, it really was a choice I didn't want to make, a choice that made me feel even more connected to my Shepard ''there is no right choice for a thing like that, I just hope I never have to go through it again''

None of them, I'd leave a few of those lazy troops who sit around on the Normandy all day while Shepard and the squad bust their asses trying to save the galaxy. You have armor and a gun? Good enough, now get out there and do something useful for once in your life. <_<

I'd send Tali to the bomb site, Liara with the salarians and get the hell off Virmire myself as soon as the quarian and the nuke are in position.

Maybe I'd send Ashley with Liara to the AA-tower as well, so that Kirrahe and Rentola could come escape as well.

Anyways though, realistic characters , I'd still leave Ashley. Or I would of left Liara . I didn't like her.

Udina wouldn't be able to defend the nuke for as long as needed. So the nuke wouldn't go off or would go off before you left. =)
