I'd nuke Kaidan again if I knew how to revive him.

I was happy with the Kaidan/Ashley choice, personally. The other four are all among my favourite characters, and I'd never willingly let any of them die.

Garrus. I've never had much use for him outside his available quests in the first 2 games. His one redeeming quality though is the Thanix Cannon, I love that thing.

Liara.
If only to see both Ashley and Kaiden developed further.
I also think those two would have made a good couple.

Garrus. No connections to anyone, rule breaker, and I'd probably feel the least guilty for having him be blown up.

One of the random soldiers carrying the bomb to the site.

Wrex. Think about it, it wouldn't kill him, just mutate him into something even more awesome.

Jenkins.......that is all
Omg, if only he would survive the first encounter, it would be so awesome.
Yes. Hey Jenkins. Don't run ahead to get gun down by those Geth Drones. Instead, why don't you wait on the Normandy so I can use you on Virmire? Yes Jenkins. Virmire. I have a special assignment. (Renegade laughter ensues)

Liara. Without a seconds hesitation. If Bioware hadn't been chumps and made her 'essential to the plot' and all. With that mind-rape thing she does.

Hmmmm. Anyone, huh?
Then I'd choose Tali or Liara. That's just a hard choice for me to make.
I'd have to flip a coin to see who died, but definitely one of those two.

Garrus or Wrex, maybe Tali.
Liara if she wasn't so important.

I'd still sacrifice Ashley or Kaiden.
The aliens are all more interesting than those two humans.

Most people are missing the point of a "Virmire" situation the reason why you could only save one person is that its ment to be symbolic of how Shepard won't be able to save everyone from the Reaper's and how such loses will be needed to defeat them its not about killing your least favourite character

No, D.Kain offered up a hypothetical situation where we could choose who to nuke.
It's just a comical spin on the Virmire situation and not an actual discussion on the meaning and symbolic significance if another person was nuked instead of Ashley or Kaidan.

Ashley, still.
Kaidan may be bland, sure, but he's got his uses.
BioWare did an excellent job with making me hate Ashley so much:
First of all, I can't stand xenophobic people. It's the spacefaring version of racism, pure and simple. This made me want to punch her in the throat.
Second, Ashely was all up in my sh*t way too often. I've played as both genders and neither Kaidan nor Liara are as annoyingly begging to jump in the sheets with me. I finally learned to make Ashley afraid of me, because being nice to her made her way too excited.
Third, Ashley was a b*tch. Ashley was nothing but d*mn rude to Liara - who was nothing but polite in response. Every time they were in a room together, all Ashley did was snap at Liara.
Fourth, I'm not against religion, but I'm not religious - I'm spiritual (there's a difference.) Someone who claims to believe in "God", but is disrespectful and suspicious of other species (who, by definition of "God", would also have been created by "God", since "God" created everything.) I just can't stand people like this.
Fifth, her voice. She sounds like Mila Kunis. Mila is a nice person, I bet, but both Ashley's VA and Mila have voices that make me want to punch a Japanese baby.
Every time I reach Virmire, I rejoice when I watch the planet as I fly away, knowing that she got blown to bits.
I think the only time I've ever used the "Renegade" option on the choice wheel was to say, "Of course" when I say I'm going back for Kaidan. I. Hate. That. Cow.

Nuke Ashley then revive her then do it until I get bored (give or take 5 years!)

So this is basically a "I hate X charater thread" or "I'm bitter that this character has a better role than my favorite character and I want them dead" thread?
