I love people like these, who just assume that they know everything. Sure, there will be people who claim that they won't get the game but still do, but there will also be people who say that they won't get the game and then don't. So how about refraining from making stupid assumptions like these?

The very fact people are on a board dedicated to ME3, who own copies of ME2 (and most likely ME) makes it extremely likely they'll end up purchasing the game.

Yes because being on a forum dedicated to the games made by a specific company and owning some of their previous games automatically means that they have no choice but to buy the next game on their release list.

Well duh. I've put over 50 hours into ME2. Which is more then I can say about alot of other games.

I will be playing Mass Effect 3 for the singleplayer, of course. If the multiplayer is good, then I will play that in addition to replaying the singleplayer. If not... I'll just stick with the singleplayer. I don't see this as anything to get angry about.

As long as it isn't forced upon you to finish the storyline and / or they don't have a terrible ending and have like "finish the fight online" and its just an ongoing fight against the reapers with no real closure.

If its either of those things above i'll be kinda pissed, if the storyline is finished in the single player and multiplayer is simply coop or horde mode or something then I don't mind, but additional storyline = a no no imo

Altough i don't like this news i admit i'm still buying ME3 for the PC i waited 5 years to fight againts the Reapers

Look at it this way, when all the CoD morons show up cause they see the shiny Multiplayer we'll be cleaning thier clocks score-wise, and that alone will be worth it.

I'm not bickering about it, but I'm almost guaranteed to not pick it up on release day. And probably not for several months after it. I'm way overcommitted on games around February/March.

Unless someone wants to get me a late birthday present. That happened last year.

That short-lived gratification may possibly be overwritten by the fact that we'll have to put up with their complaints. >.>

As stated previously, if the multiplayer is, indeed, a co-op type mode set in a story running parallel with the main storyline and using new characters, then I'm all for it. Heck, I'll even look forward to it.

See its simple here it is!!! If they put multiplayer in it, more then likely more then 99% of the people who are ME fans will buy it. Now with an add on of Multiplayer all them people who said that they wouldn't play ME1 or 2 because there wasn't multiplayer about 50% at least would proble get it, do the math that means there would be more people getting a chance at more fans. Do even more math it would equal more money!!

I am not angry or anything, I am just really disappointed. Not because of multiplayer alone, it's just that BioWare tries to cater to this certain type of people and try to do it by adding features, that they're nowhere near best in. I didn't think this was Gears of War or CoD. I thought this was ME, but they seem to be hellbent on adding these ''cool kid'' features into their games.

I don't understand that kind of stupidity.

Yeah... that pretty much summarises BioWare lately as a whole, and how I too feel about moves such as this.
