Soul cool there is no doubt that locked content is already on the disk, and if multiplayer is in then it's taken valuable space that could of been for single player but is now gonna be sold to us as 'dlc'. Anyway I don't care now I knew it's going to be in, when a game focuses so much on shooting mechanics multiplayer will always be right behind. I just want to watch the hate flow in.

Same here, people are far too eager to believe this, either because they want it, or they want to see the flaming, or they hate it and WANT to flame.

...I honestly don't know what to say. This is terrible news. Just... terrible and depressing. As long as it keeps itself to some form of co-op (which just seems awkward given the three-man squad dynamic of ME [as in, what happens when you have a friend over? Is it online only? That's lame and near-useless and rather unexciting.]).

...for the first time I'm actually tempted to believe the rumor. It actually seems legitimate this time. No dodgy wording, no half-truths... it explicitly says multiplayer.

Sethan, because any time a game adds multiplayer to a single player game, the story goes to the crapper. Period. I don't know a single multiplayer game that had a good stroyline for single player. You have to pick great single, great multi or sucky both.

It is something that must be nurtured. Give it some time to grow. After all, if one talks about it enough, and people listen to you enough, eventually there will be hatred. But, as you can see, there is already some raging going on in this thread. It is glorious, I tell you. Glorious.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood had multiplayer, and both that and the single player were pretty damn good.


^Although that's the exception, rather than the rule. At least for games I've played.
