Until the next thing that people get pissed off at comes along.
I mean if ME3 really has multiplayer, people will remember for a long, long time.

PC PowerPlay isn't "some rag". From what I can gather, it is rather well respected in Aussie-land.justgimmedudedammit wrote...
I'm kind of curious why an embargoed article is out already. Bioware has to leave it to some rag to announce their big deal? Sloppy. Really sloppy.

I really don't care so long as the conclusion of the main game is not noticeably poorer as a result.
If it seems that content (especially story and dialog) has been cut to pay for this unnecessary feature I will be very disappointed and will be left feeling that the team at Bioware have let many fans and also themselves down.

Meh. I'm sure some will rage-storm away from the BSN and swear never to buy another game from BioWare.
I can't do that. I'm an addict and have to get my BW fix, multi or no.

Right so it's some rag that says "Gooday mate" insted of "Hello".

Doesn't dismiss the fact they leaked it before Bioware announced it. That's a cheap shot.

Sethan, because any time a game adds multiplayer to a single player game, the story goes to the crapper. Period. I don't know a single multiplayer game that had a good stroyline for single player. You have to pick great single, great multi or sucky both.
OK.
You just made me think that ME3 having multiplayer isn't such a bad idea.

Question is this: Is ME3 still an RPG?
Optimistic fools say yes. Realistic champions know otherwise. At this point it's Gears of War with conversations and cutomization.
Oh, here it comes.....

I second that, if the story is as epic as they have been building it up to be i could care less about the MP component!

I agree. I still don't really think the magazine deserves to be call "a rag". I mean, if it was some PC form of The National Enquirer or something, sure.justgimmedudedammit wrote...

Halo is the perfect example of a sucky single player. 4 hours of gameplay Max, I hate halo. It's only good to hammer eachother in the face... Oh and runny eachother over in he ghost, one more I guess. Tea bagging eachother. Yep that sums up all of halo's glory.
You've never actually played Halo, have you?

No, you forgot Warthog Jumping. :innocent: Also, it's roughly 10 hours of SP. Like TheBlackBaron said, you've not actually played it, have you?
I still lament the loss in BioWare's integrity and the addition of Multiplayer.

What makes you think it isn't? Any magazine publisher that can't keep a lid on it - yeah, it's a rag.

That's my stance, but I know lots of fans feel really strongly about having/not having it. I just want to finish Shepard's story.

MP explains why ME3 delayed till 2012. At least if the solo campaign is not up to RPG standard we can all kill each other on the MP maps. A co-op map/campaign similar to Dead Island would be outstanding.

My name's in the top-right of the post.
Halo 3's SP campaign is the one that gets the most complaints, since it was rather short. But I recall Halo 2 - which was basically Xbox LIVE's killer app - as having a fairly lengthy campaign even by FPS standards of the time (which were already considerably longer than the six-hour Call of Duty model that most seem to think of these days).
