Oh look. Another magazine that claims Multiplayer for ME3.
Exactly why Bioware needs to come out and confirm or deny it

Exactly that. So much for the denials and the claims that they'll focus on the SP experience. Now I'll always wonder what has been scrapped in favor of MP.Kolgen1227 wrote...
So it appears that the story an character development took a hit for the 40 players who wanted multiplayer, sorry to the 12mil of the rest of us. The minority wins again. So, the question is, how good could the game have been if they didn't spend the 6 months just to add multiplayer to the game, how much of the game was scraped to slow funding and time to add this feature, I really want to know. So BW, if this is the case and you added multiplayer, what things in game play, story, and graphics took the bullet? Because those are the things I want in the first DLC, Oh and it should be free too, it's what I payed for in the first place.
It's not that I really mind its presence (if it's co-op anyway) but I mind the waste - as far as I'm concerned - of resources.

Actually, all you'll see is something like:
Please discuss mutliplayer rumors in the appropriate thread.

LOL, the expression sums up everything I'm feeling.
I called ME3 having sucky multiplayer in the event of it having multiplayer a long time ago. Now it's just a matter of watching the reviews roll in.

These posts embody my fears. But I support the DLC proposal, as unlikely as it sounds.
Also... this thread WILL be like Christmas Eve in the morning.
I can't wait.

I bet everyone will be calmly discussing the ups and downs of multi, just like they have for the past 6 pages now.

Sethan, because any time a game adds multiplayer to a single player game, the story goes to the crapper. Period. I don't know a single multiplayer game that had a good stroyline for single player. You have to pick great single, great multi or sucky both.

Why? It's good free publicity when people go on and rage about it. Why deny or confirm the rumors now?

Well, maybe it's not so bad. Uncharted 2 had glorious single player, and awesome multi-player.
Of course, Uncharted was never a 40 hour + RPG built on individuality of gameplay and story decisions, but Gears of War 3 had a good campaign and .... oh no... I'm hyperventilating ....
How about HORDE MODE! You and your friends kill waves of robots, geths, 2 eyed dudes, blue zombies etc etc. If we can transfer our shepard from the SP campaign into the horde mode map that will be super awesome. You can have 4 shepards with all their armor/weapons defending a point and staying in cover.

PC PowerPlay isn't "some rag". From what I can gather, it is rather well respected in Aussie-land.justgimmedudedammit wrote...
I'm kind of curious why an embargoed article is out already. Bioware has to leave it to some rag to announce their big deal? Sloppy. Really sloppy.
It's our only dedicated PC magazine and it's known for being reputable. Plus the news was quasi-confirmed by at least a few Australian gaming journalists and editors.

Now, this I could accept and approve of! Sure, it's basically stealing from firefight mode in halo, but whatevs, 'cause every game does it now.
Regardless, it does appear to be the most feasible.

The news was quasi confirmed by everyone who thought they had something to say in the gaming world for the past I don't even know how many months. Don't see why this 'confirmation' should be treated differently than the rest.<_<
