The way they worded it makes the multiplayer seem relatively minor, so my guesses are either campaign co-op or standalone missions.

BWMontreal have been working on the ME games since ME2 though. It's something people who keep saying "but it's Montreal so it doesn't count towards resources/money/budget" keep forgetting.

They all are. I've seen PC Powerplay quoted in other articles. They seem to have had the privelege of breaking the story.

If they allocated separate resources to it, fine. If they took budget (and developers) from the main single-player campaign, it's an extremely stupid idea.

yeah. Mass Effect wasn't made for multiplayer. But we know some cash cow elements and EA have changed that. Hope this goes well.

Well, yeah, I'd say the "Official XBOX Magazine" hasn't published as many rumour mill stories as other magazines have been prone to doing, but the more credible source was a reference to the Tweet by BioWare. No offense was intended
