To be honest, guys, not checking out the game just because it has multiplayer is like refusing to eat at a certain restaurant because they give you free mints after dinner.

Dude. It's a mint. Just leave it on the table if you don't want it and enjoy the real reason you came: for the damn meal.

Not if they spent time and resources creating this mint rather than my actual meal, and it was of a lower quality as a result.

Seriously, if multi is bad for single player, why do StarCraft's solo campaigns still impress me after a whole damn decade?

To be fair, blizzard games have far longer development time than Bioware games. 

Just compare how long they've spent making DIablo 3 (several years) to Dragon Age 2 (10-12 months?)

Of course multiplayer will not detract from the game when your spending years making it, but ME3 has a comparitively short development time.

Of course they said that! 

what did you expect them to say? That the single player campaign is shorter and has had less polish because of multiplayer? That it made them delay the game for 4 and half months? <_<

Me too, I find it funny how people are jumping up and down still without knowing the full facts and making statements as if they do.
