If it's a horde style game mode or co-op, I'm all for it.
If it's competitive, I'll try it. Hell, I'll probably like it and play the **** out of it.
I don't see how this will take away from the campaign.
In my humble opinon, people need to stop ****ing so much. CoD sucks, and ME3 won't be another CoD. BioWare is just too good to fail that hard. A horde style mode will make this game so much more fun. Just hop in a lobby with some friends and blast away at geth, husks, and other foes.

P.S.
I'm all for co-op or horde style modes.
As far as PvP, It may be a nice added feature. Not gonna make or break ME3 for me.

Thank god I have my CE preordered. Now we wait.

I was convinced by my friends to buy Brink. As far as I'm concerned, DA2 is a goddamned masterpiece. If it's the worst game you've ever played, or anywhere near the worst, you have played very few games. At worst, DA2 is 'meh'.

No, DA2 is awful. Is it one of the worst games I have ever played? No. But that doesnt change the fact.

Unless it is really ambitious and/or substantial, this is a complete waste of time. People are going to play it for a week or two, trade it in and then continue playing COD or BF3.

Yep because Call of Duty's main multiplayer attraction is the co op. <_<

This almost confirms Origin as required, or rather it will be required for multiplayer, not sure if you'll need it if you just intend to avoid it. Biggest reason is that not everyone on pc buys it from Steam, especially those of us getting the CE. Some get it from amazon or some other retailer.

What do they think we fear?

I don't want to lose chuncks of the main story because I don't play multiplayer. I also don't want to be forced to go online to play ME3. That's what I fear, other than getting an inferior product due to multiplayer splitting resources and being forced to buy features I don't want to use.
