Somehow, "I told you" so just doesn't cut it. Oh well. For those of us who knew this was coming more than a week ago, this is just icing on the cake. Here's hoping Bioware EA sees that nice uptick in sales for the "extra money" they put in to develop this, which of course didn't take any money away whatsoever from the SP budget.

Dear God EA, please don't let this be another DA2.

Here's hoping single player doesn't suffer. Some games just don't need multiplayer tacked on to it. Bioshock 2 was a good example.

don't really care, as long as i don't get shafted and there's an actual mission i can't do because i don't have somebody to help out....i doubt it goes taht way though

Meh, it was pretty damn obvious this was coming. I can see us getting co-op map packs instead of story-based DLC for ME3 /cynicism.

Never said I took it seriously. I can't read your mind so I gave you advice on the possibility that you don't like the co-op.

I would just like to say that I like guns. I also like my friends.

One of the reasons I picked up the original Mass Effect is because I like sci-fi shooters. I can't get into fantasy, and the thought of combat with a sword is... icky.

I'm glad to be able to actually play alongside my friends instead of just nerd out about it.

I never blamed all RPG elitists. Hell I've been playing RPGs for awhile now but I never got the pointless hate for FPS games that had mp.

You consider MP a waste of resources that could have been spent on polishing the single-player aspect of the game? You do realize that this game was completely playable in December of 2010...it is now October of 2011 and the game isn't scheduled for release until March of 2012.

I'm not a game developer or anything, although the folks at Bioware are, but if a game is 100% playable or at least close to it over a year before its release date...I'm pretty sure that there wouldn't need to be much more polishing if any at all considering the immense timeframe of post-production. We're talking over 15 months here, that's an incredibly long time for polishing and rounding out the game and even working on new features like multi-player.

I have no issues with there being a multi-player aspect of Mass Effect 3, especially if it's co-op like we can take control of Garrus or Liara in the battle parts of our friends campaigns. It'd be awesome to see how others played through the trilogy.

If it was already finsihed it then they should have released it sooner, not tack on some crap no one wanted. Hell you got a whole year to work on it? Add more single player content. You want to know how coop will likely work for this game? Go play Tales of Vesperia Coop. I don't really see a way it could be different. Maybe they'll suprise me. Regardless there are better things they could have done rather than tack on some crappy multiplayer.

I think they have alot of time to polish the Multiplayer if it was a relatively new decision to implement into the game. actually 4 months and 26 days til release which is alot of time if you ask me

Actually I pretty much agree with this.

Yeah I'll be pissed if they screw up the single-player, because I am big on narative driven games.  But overall, this might be fun.

If this turns out to be another DA2 I'm done with Bioware.

The single player campaign better not be shorter or less satisfying than the single player campaigns in ME1 or ME2.
