Dude, that's really off topic. You should probably stick to the topic (Multiplayer in Mass Effect 3!). I don't even know what Valium is, so I say no thanks, but thanks, man.xSTONEYx187x wrote...

Who knows? And wha if there isn't? He's allowed to call himself Tali81 if he wants to. Or Tali34. Or maybe even Tali98. I'm okay with that. How about you? Are there really 1119 other people called didymos? Are there? Do you know? I honestly wouldn't surprise me. The internet is a crazy place. Didymos... what a name. Didy.. mos. Heh. Amazing, isn't it? How do you come up with that stuff? How was your day?didymos1120 wrote...

if they took time away from the main campaign for Multiplayer. I will never buy another BioWare game
Are there really 80 other people named "iloveTali"?
I have a bag of Valium, I could mail it to you if you like.
T'was a joke, Valium calms people down, you seem a bit hyper, maybe you're excited for MP in Mass Effect? (See what I did there)

You call that modding? I call it cheating, tbh. That's like me putting my strenght to 99 in Kotor using KSE and saying I'm modding it, lmao.Jorina Leto wrote...

Here's hoping single player doesn't suffer. Some games just don't need multiplayer tacked on to it. Bioshock 2 was a good example.
Le sigh.
It is going to suffer, because we can't mod the game.
Yes. The most important:
- make the idiotic thermal clips to go away
- add resources so you don't need to strip mine planets.
And how are thermal clips idiotic? Infinite supply of fire with frictionless materials was idiotic as it destroyed anything challenging about the concept of the shooter part of the RPG-shooter ME is anyway. This is what I mean, every single ME1 elitist refers to things they don't like as stupid, as if people who don't like them are stupid. ME is just as much shooter as RPG, and guess what, a shooter with infinite ammo isn't challenging. ME2's system was better and more tactical, and actually made you think about where you aimed and what guns you carried. (eg. Mattock has low ammo capacity but high DPS)

Also people cancelling their pre-orders because it has multiplayer......... really grow up
Usually when a previously single player game tacks on multiplayer in a sequel, the end result is a disappointing and less polished single player experience. There are exceptions to every rule of course but that is generally the case. With that in mind, the people who are worried about how the multiplayer announcement affects the single player game have a legitimate concern.
Why should I continue with my pre-order? If I want to gamble with my money I'll go down to the Casino. In fact I'll probably get better odds at the Blackjack table, considering how often tacked on multiplayer has resulted in a disappointing single player game.
I'd advise anyone who is more interested in the single player aspect of Mass Effect 3 to cancel their pre-orders and wait for reviews before deciding whether to buy new or used.

The ironic thing is that Mass Effect 1 and 2 are both fairly buggy themselves, and those games don't have multiplayer.
Clearly it was because they were secretly working on MP modes for both titles and ended up cutting them, thereby tricking us into believing there were other reasons for those games' flaws.

Co-op ain't that bad actually.
So, these are our 4 pre-defined co-op characters on the cover? Or just examples of how we can create our own co-op avatars? Can we customize race/armor/appearance?

Don't worry man. ME3 won't have any bugs in it. I killed their queen on Noveria!DarkRiku7 wrote...
Pretty much all Bioware games have some bugs in them.
LOL!
Do you get it? Because the Rachni are really bug looking. They're like bugs, and I killed them, so they won't be in my ME3 playthrough. ROFL
If you still don't understand my joke, feel free to send me a PM.

They completely nerfed the AI companion deliberately so I can't use them past Normal difficulty. They outright said if I found a way to play with AI companions by myself they will nerf it until I am forced to play with other people.bobobo878 wrote...
You know that in Diablo II the singleplayer was exactly the same as the muliplayer except the ability to play it with other players, right? Just like in Diablo II, if you start a private match and don't inivte anyone else, there's no difference except you can use the same character for multiplayer too. If you don't have any friends or are determined to play alone, just do that.VallenValiant wrote...
That would only matter if future games from Bioware HAVE single player. We have Diablo III as an example of what can happen, with single player gameplay was all but gutted and treated like it is a tutorial for multiplayer.
Blizzard made it clear in their offical statements that DIII are only for two kinds of people; those who play single player in Easy difficulty and then quit, or those who play multiplayer. This is from a Blizzard employee in their own forum.
"Followers will not stay alive easily past Normal, and
if they're not alive you aren't going to be getting their bonuses. I'm
sure people will try to game this, and ideally they will fail. If not we
will ensure followers are not part of the end-game MF equation. They
are not intended to be, and we will take whatever steps are necessary to
ensure they cannot be.
"
http://forums.battle...d=3000&pageNo=2
"Followers fit in with that 'average' use of games
very well, but their intent is to also help people expand beyond their
initial intent of beating it on Normal, and then shelving the game. If
the followers can get a player excited about co-op because they like
playing with another character, that's a win. We also think they just
add a lot to the experience up front, which is important.

Or Deus Ex, lol. Sure, the MP was developed afterwards, but it shows the same people who envision such a brilliant SP experience also see the benefits of an MP mode, plus the co-op mode for ME3 is likely being developed by a separate subsidiary of Bioware anyway.1136342t54 wrote...

If we could customize our charachters it would be sweet, either way i will also be happy if we just recieve missions like Turians defending Palaven or something similiar and we can choose which class to play. I wonder if MP will include XP or leveling up aswell.IsaacShep wrote...
