We don't know that! We just don't know yet, man! you never know these days. Maybe ME3 will have MMO elements, and every squadmate will be controlled by all kinds of people. Koreans, germans, english, YOU NAME IT! Welcome, to the future. Co op is the real.LPPrince wrote...

"Beefy solo campaign"....you mean...the game?
*sigh*
Well, now that there's co-op missions, there's more to the game than a single player campaign.
So yes, the single player is no longer THE game. There's more to it.

Forget friendship. Just send these angry BSN forum posters at them. When the dust settles, there will be a sea of people with bits of Reaper sticking out from between their teeth.

Yes. Direct. "We tried to get it in, but it didn't work". As much as I like the guy, that's an outright lie. Yes. He was referring to Multiplayer, not Co-Op. It doesn't matter. Co-Op counts as Multiplayer, technically and that's dishonesty from a producer right there.

It doesn't. It's simply there. It's the new kid in the class. The one everyone picks on. It's reallt sad. "haha, look at the new kid. He's ugly!" But is he? Is he really that ugly? How about you go over there and talk to him? Maybe he's a really nice person. Beuatiful on the inside, as they say.The Calculator wrote...
So I hear lots of complaining, I heard it since ME1 when ever any one brought up multiplayer. But what I never heard is a valid reason for such complaints. Its always stuff like "lt will ruin the game." "Mass Effect is a singleplayer game if you want multiplayer play Gears of War" "If they add multiplayer that take away from the time they put into singleplayer" Which is not true because with most games there are multiple teams working on the project and other thing like that with out any explanation why. So here is your chance complainers tell me a valid reason you think multiplayer detracts form the game.

1) Never played Mega man, but ME1 on hardcore/insanity is easy with the right build.RolandX9 wrote...
1) Play old-school Mega Man, or ME1 on Hardcore+ for that matter, and tell me a shooter with infinite ammo isn't challenging.darknoon5 wrote...
And how are thermal clips idiotic? Infinite supply of fire with frictionless materials was idiotic as it destroyed anything challenging about the concept of the shooter part of the RPG-shooter ME is anyway. This is what I mean, every single ME1 elitist refers to things they don't like as stupid, as if people who don't like them are stupid. ME is just as much shooter as RPG, and guess what, a shooter with infinite ammo isn't challenging.
2) Ammo is stupid in the Mass Effect universe because there was infinite ammo two years ago, not because infinite ammo is better than finite ammo or vice versa (that's a matter of taste). Every military in the galaxy would have to be a bunch of hopelessly incompetent idiots to not give every soldier at least one infinite ammo "ping" gun. (I'd vote for the SMG, but I'm a big fan of More Dakka.) Of course, since Shepard is literally the only combatant in the galaxy who has to worry about thermal clips, maybe the Illusive Man is just messing with him.
2) Thermal clips arent "ammo," per say, but they fill the same role. They actually are superior to supposedly infinite ammo guns, as they stillhave the "infinite" (40,000?) shots, but overheating is circumvented.

Of course, as most people were that much in denial that did indeed put their heads in the sand, despite the piles of evidence over the last year and a half. Then again, that shouldn't come at a surprise with the simpletons who don't see the difference between Word of God and marketing/PR; we've seen it with the PS3 version, as well as several plot spoilers such as Legion, and we'll see it again when ME1 finally arrives on PS3 as well, albeit in a remade form.ArcanaLegacy wrote...
