Did you try the new driver AMD released just for Rage? Maybe this'll help you out.  Or you could try a rollback to an older driver.

I can't seem to pick up the amulet in the puzzle room. I finished the puzzle and then went for the feater and amulet but the hand icon is not appearing for the amulet. PC windows 7

Those with issues related to the Catalyst 11.9 driver I have confirmed through trial and error that rolling back to the 11.8 driver fixes the issues with crashes

Yea pretty much a video crash fest(crashing during great hunt conversation intro and mid combat) with win7 64 with amd/ati 5870 11.9 driver. uninstalled 11.9 tried the rage performance driver same issue. Win7 completely up to date, zero issues with main game and other dlc.

Possible spoiler ahead.



This can happen when in the retreat under the castle.

When you fight the bodyguard and guards after the portcullis, if you leave it too long to loot the bodyguard's body (quite possible because there may be remaining guards to deal with) the loot may disappear. This leaves you stuck locked in the place needing the means to get out, which is no longer there.

A restart from just before solved the problem, you just need to keep an eye on the main enemy and loot him fairly promptly. However, I suspect that key items should not disappear in this way.

The DLC won't allow me to bring Templar Carver, he is greyed out on my screen. Is this a bug or intentional? If it helps I am playing this DLC using a post-campaign save.

Before you meet Tallis: Carver/Bethany will not be a selectable party member

After you meet Tallis: Carver/Bethany should be selectable as a patry member

Not sure if it's a bug but I'm having trouble with Isabela's quest...pirates and their curses, I have all the gems and collected the knife but nothing else happens....there's nothing left to collect and when I go the the stone pirates, nothing happens. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Nevermind, I re-loaded at the statues and they had the arrows overhead and the quest finished.

I,er... can't finish the DLC. After the battle with Prosper and Leopold in "The Ruins", there is literally no way to leave the area. There is a path that clearly leads elsewhere, but it is invisible walled off.

That doesn't sound right. After the Prosper/Leopold fight, the game should switch to a cutscene to complete the DLC

Wish it were so. I've repeated the fight several times, even reverting to earlier saves, but haven't been able to progress beyond that point.

I am also having video crashes. Using Direct X 11 with a ATI 5850 video card. All of my drivers are up to date. Windows 7, 64 bit, 16 gb ram, Intel Core i7 2.8 Ghz. My rogue keeps crashing at intro. My mage just crashed fighting the Sky Mage after i turned the difficulty down to normal. Did not crash on hard. Will try on casual just to see if I get a crash.

Edit:  Was able to finish the fight on casual.  Could difficulty have something to do with the crashing?  Perhaps the mob density is affecting play.

That is definitely not right. Could you post your specs- OS, hardware, graphics card and drivers, direct x, and the patch your playing on?

I seem to recall that when Legacy launched it ran into some issues with Direct X 11, that cleared up when playing on Direct X 9

Did you try the trick with reclosing the gates so that the main door is inaccessible? It worked for me so far and for other players, but some reported that the bug still exists.

The re-closing trick did not work for me. If I choose one chest, the other becomes unlootable when I get too close to it. :(

The left most chest is bugged in the caged room with the stone switch flooring before the door that says vault. I have opened the chest on the right side of the room, but the chest on the left side of the room remains locked for some reason. It still glitters like there is something in it when I am far away. When I walk up close to it, the glitter goes away. I am unable to open the chest on the left side of the room.  It's pretty much a game stopping bug for me. I can not get the cage in front of the vault door to unlock now.    :(

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Processor 3.2GHz
8192MB DDR 3 Ram
DirectX 11
6850 Radeon HD 1 gig video card memory

I can't loot the amulet on the chest at all. I could loot the other one. The gates surrounding the door into the next room are all shut. If I stand well back on the red carpet I can see the icon to loot and the chest sparkling, but as soon as I approach it's not possible.

I found that if I try play a character from Act2 or higher than the memento doesn't show up anywhere, even though the journal entry say's its in Gamlen's house, but if I play a character that's still in Act 1 the item shows up where it's suppose to be. Anyone else come across this?

For some reason this forum is not posting my posts, so if the original post finally shows up please disregard one of the posts.

I have this exact problem. I understand there should be a cutscene with Tallis, but it doesn't trigger. The last line I get is Hawke saying is about duke falling from grace.

Funny thing, when I approach one side of the Ruins area, I can actually see Prosper standing on a mountain path on the other side behind some trees and of course I can't reach him. No idea how he gets there after falling down the cliff.

Discovered a rather silly bug in the gate room. You know the two statues you have to knock over? You've got Hawke on one side, Tallis on the other, and they both have to knock over a statue one at a time. Well, if you get super close to a statue with both characters, then use the Pause mode, left-click one statue with Hawke, switch to Tallis and left-click the other statue, then unpause, both cutscenes will play one after the other. In other words, the cutscene with Tallis knocking a statue over will play, then immediately the one of Hawke doing the same will play. Here's the bug: When the cutscenes finish, Hawke (or Tallis) will magically have teleported to the same side as the other character. So if Hawke is on the left, Tallis on the right, Hawke will teleport to the right with Tallis after the cutscene, or vice versa. Not really game breaking or anything, just kind of funny.

EDIT: I was recording a video of this, since it's kind of hard to describe via text... turns out that sometimes Tallis will knock over BOTH statues, lol. Usually it shows Hawke knock one over, then Tallis, but this time Tallis knocked them both over. Uploading the video to YouTube.
