Who's the Strongest Rogue?  It seemed an appropriate subject with the coming DLC coming out.

Also who's the strongest Enemy rogue that you face?Posted Image

The Arishok.

(If you mean 'strongest' in terms of muscle size; Although male hawke does try his hardest to keep up haha)

Or did you mean the in-game characters?

Among the companions, it's hard to argue against Varric.

A rogue Hawke is plenty powerful. Often, I end up just sticking to auto attacking as enemies die too fast.

Bartrand.

The chubby SOB hits like a truck and has like, 50% Damage Resistance on Nightmare, absolute ZERO cooldown on his Stealth, and practically unlimited Health Potions.

There is no way to beat him without continuous AOE stuns and even then he's an almost unkillable hell beast.

Sure there is.  Handle him like any other elite assassain- kill all the other enemies in the room first, and he won't go into stealth anymore.  Then just pick away at him.  I've beaten him solo with several classes.

In Dragon Age lore: Probably Leliana or Rogue Hawke. Simply put, Leliana has her own DLC, she's a Chantry seeker, Sister Nightingale, and one of the most popular characters. Plus the Warden can kill her and she comes back alive in DA2. Only other Bioware character to match that is Shepard.

In DA2: Rogue Hawke. Properly specced he/she is a killing machine. Varric and Isabela are too squishy to get that kind of credit.

Plot Armor and Retcons =/= the "Strongest". It just means that she's conveniently needed for the plot to move forward. And she's quickly reaching the top of my "characters who need to die" list. Right under Liara.

Best DAII non-Hawke rogue party member is Varric "Machinegun" Tethras, hands down. Haste+Speed+Well-Oiled+Embellishment(+PLR is my Hawke's a mage)... well, you get the idea.

Varric. Simply because he can fire a few arrows straight up, then magically they hang near the ceilling for awhile, multiplying themselves, and then rain down on his enemies for about 10-20 seconds.

Varric is a beast, especially once he gets his Bianca's Song and it's upgrade, he really wrecks house. The closest I have come to matching Varric as an archer is either Sebastian with an A3 bow or Hawke himself/herself.
