Having been on these forums off and on since 2007 I have to disagree with that, and I've been in all the character fan threads.

Most of the romanceable characters have their fair share of creepy fans, but for whatever reason Tali seems to have more of them. And it isn't just that Tali is the most popular LI. The level of creepiness among the worst of the Talimancers is generally beyond that which you find among the other character's fans. You don't see many Jack or Ashley fans for example, talking about them as if those characters are actually their girlfriends.


They also don't have their own memes. Talimancers do.

It takes a certain level of all kinds of wrong for an ME fan to match 4chan. And a certain sect of Talimancers (who are a minority, mind you) have reached that level, whereas no other 'mancer has.

Well, I can't romance Tali yet, and don't know if she'll be open to homosexual relations in ME3, so... and Garrus is just not attractive to me.
