High Dragon are all female. The drakes are the boy dragons. Since the Old Gods are all draconic, it seems logical that they are all either female or transgendered.

The Old Gods are men.

Most of them are.

I'd say the Old Gods are a mix of male and female dragons.

Perhaps they transcend gender, and only shift into gender-specific forms (like dragons) as the mood or purpose suits them.

She. Is. A. Dragon.

The hair-horns. The constant act of transforming into one. The dragon image that swirls above when she's brought back to life. The new comic about one of her daughters reveals something big about dragons.

Maybe, but then that begs the question why they're in dragon form constantly.

Perhaps if the Maker exists, he forced them to remain in such a form? As maybe a way of saying "For being worshipped as dragons you will always be dragons"?

Flemeth's the Razikale Old God Baby, who is in turn Andraste.

I really hope that theory of mine and Rifneno's turns out to be true Image IPB

Could be that the dragon is the be-all, end-all form of awesomeness in Thedas and the DA-verse - something that the people can comprehend (as in their brains won't explode at the sight of one) and will be awed and fearful of. So the gods simply shift into that which will have the most impact.

Maybe they like the shape/form. Flying and breathing fire doesn't seem too shabby a deal. Image IPB

That's because they probably are dragons, or at least invented the form and created dragons. All other dragons are described as being their children on the official DA site.

I think Flemeth is Fereldan's spokesmodle for Acme Sup-R-Hold Hair Gel and other fine Acme hair care products.  Please note that side effects of Acme Hair Care Products may include: breathing fire, maniacle laughter, turning into a dragon, frightening Sandle, laughing at Hawke's lame jokes, ticking off Morrigan, if you're visited by bewildered Grey Wardens stop using Acme Hair Care Products and consult a Templar immediately.

Flemeth is actually David Gaider in Dragon Age form. If you look real closely at them, you'll discover what I mean. I mean, it's the only possible explanation. XD

That's how any creature is made.  When a female and male mix.

Nah, Flemeth's an avatar of the Maker, working towards his return. Everyone in Thedas had the wrong idea that the Maker turned his back on them when it was something else that prevented him returning from wherever he was dropped off. Image IPB

Anyways, Flemeth kinda reminds me of a being, a powerful mystical being who had done and seen all. Now she's simply just...well, "bored" and wishes only to play chess with a different set of rules. Image IPB

I agree... except the maker thing.  Raising girls to be non believers and all.
