I recently purchased a second DA Ultimate Edition as a gift for my Nephew.

Yesterday he installed the game and when trying to use the code to DL the additional content, found that the codes had expired, apperently on the 30th July, this was before i brought it.

The interesting thing is that the date is on the flyer INSIDE the case, there is nothing on the outside packaging to suggest that the content has an expirery date.

There is small print in the lower back of the case stating that "EA may retire online features after 30 days notice", However since to even be able to access those features you have to have used the "enclosed serial code" it strikes me as strange.

Though i have seen that you can now PAY for those DLC from the main site, it seems to me that EA are Legally bound to honor the access because the only notice of the lime limit imposed is INSIDE the case.

Anyone have any suggestions as to how to proceed?

I have never come across your problem with a genuine retail DVD edition of the UE, so I can't help much more.

PS: the should only be one content/dlc code for the UE.  There is a CD key for game registration and a single code valid for all the dlc.  Total of two codes for the lot.

I'm going to contact Support and see if they can do anything. It says in all capitals on the cover of the game: "Also Includes all 7 Downloadable Content Packs". I wouldn't have bought it otherwise. I was hoping for a massive, epic journey of RPG completeness, not just the two games. It'd be like buying the latest version of Mass Effect 2 and only getting ME2 because the other codes expired!
