I don't understand the ''Just wait till you have the game, before judging''. The damage at that point is already done, you've helped finance rubbish. [/quote]

I'm sorry but your avatar is kinda creepy, just sayin'...[/quote]

Then you don't want to see the other ones, I personally love it. Image IPB

[quote]

lol what are the other ones like? [/quote]
 [/quote]

The same woman, soaping her legs in a bath or... well there's over 10 different ones with different themes and things.

Does Bioware allow this? xD

(and also in response to 111987)

Except that, in ALL other shooters, if you don't start on the MP from day one (or preferably sooner if you've got early access from a previous 'limited edition' version), you just end up as canon fodder for those who have been playing from the first possible opportunity and upgraded their weapons. Very difficult to catch up.

Except this is co-op and not versus.

So wait is it a good thing or a bad thing now to cancel a preorder over the addition of multiplayer?  I mean, reading the reviews after you've already bought the game is kinda pontless...:innocent:

Some reviews can be out the same day the game comes out or even before.

I suggest you keep your pre order because if you dont like the game from the reviews you can still return it if its unopened. =]

(for most places I know of anyways...)

Oh I intend to.  For one more day, at least.  I'm curious to see how this...decision...gets justified in th Pulse episode.  Afterwords, I make no promises.  But they've got an uphill battle to convince me .

Agreed, while I still do have hope I remain "Pessimistically Cautious" as Darkeus would have put it. xP

I'll be the first to admit multiplayer is not my cup of tea, but CO-OPERATIVE multiplayer, then sure! I can do with that. It will keep the game alive longer too.

Hm, a footnote in the new OXM article mentions "Army of One, Two or Three" and explains that if you don't have a full team of four, there are no fill-in bots so you'd better be leveled. The same article mentions that you gain experience even if you fail a mission though, so I guess people who really, really do not want to play with anyone else but would still like to experience the content can just die a hundred times, build up toward god mode status and attempt to wipe the floor on their lonesome.

It was just a footnote at the bottom of a page though, no word from Casey.

No way. Now earlier today there was a small quote storm that brewed with quotes running up to half a page!

I'm refraining from opening up too big a worm can here and ending up banned but I'd suggest you search around a bit elsewhere. The article is out there... :)

I can get on board with that.  I'm not a fan of the forum software.  I also want the embedded videos functionality back.

Isn't the quoting problem just a matter of people not checking their tags?

The forums tend to screw them up fairly regularly without any help.

Technically, yes, but in many cases it's the forum screwing them up and people not noticing that it did so.  I imagine it's due to some piece of code that thinks it's "helping".

I have noticed sometimes that there is an odd amount of space between the last line of content and the /quote tag. And there is an added chance for messing up quoting when removing earlier quotes. You have to make sure you delete the quote tag and the corresponding /quote tag.

Can someone remind me when the Bioware TV interview about the co-op is? I understand it's at 10am but i don't know what time zone they go by.

The "Galaxy At War" system worries me. I really don't want the multiplayer impacting my single player experience in any way.

It doesn't.

Did we read the same article?.

Yes, but you didn't understand all of it.

@JeffZero

After a quick read, I have slightly more confidence in the Co-op.

Still a little confused as to how "War Assets" will be earned by using the Facebook but I'll reserve judgement

I think the implication was that you have unique methods of tracking your progress via various platforms such as facebook. But then, eh, who knows. I sure hope there aren't available "War Assets" to earn on facebook, I only remember to check that site once a month or so.

While I plan on waiting to see if this is worth it or not, having to preface any announcement with "We know none of you have been asking for this, but please don't hate it" really does say something.

I've been kind of on the fence about ME3, though I do still plan on buying it, but not with the same "I must have this!" feeling as ME2. The CE content is kind of meh, the cut in party members (when you spent the entirety of last game gathering them) is -slightly- annoying and filling one of those slots with Generic McSoldierGuy hasn't exactly wowed me over.

I'm not talking about the added space thing, which is also annoying. I'm talking about quoting a post that looks perfectly fine and adding your reply, only to find it suddenly doesn't look perfectly fine because there was an additional opening or closing quote tag in there for no apparent reason.
