I'm gaining interest in ME3 very fast.
There are too many elements that make me want to play the game right now, and this MP feature helps.
Good to hear, the game will be KICKASS.

he said it dosent and that you can still get the best possible endings without it.Dhiro wrote...
So using the co-op affect the single-player campaign? Interesting. I really hope that you don't need to use it to get the "best ending", though :<

Looking for cross demographic applicability is great, but when money is tight will folks really spend sixty or eighty bucks on what's supposed to be an RPG just for some piece of MP? Or will they wait and spend it on the next installment of their fav/tried and delivered T/FPS MP's instead? My guess is the latter. Unless the RPG part falls to the wayside... Which most of us hope won't be the case, but after DA2(which I have enjoyed no doubt, but not as an RPG and certainly not as part of the DA universe)...

Actually the response in this thread has been mostly negative.

Holy shiznit, four more pages just while trying to catch up. Bummer to the Canadians who found themselves CYA'ing like crazy after the cover story leak this morning - working to calm fervor is not how I'd want to spend my Turkey Day.
As to the op, we'll all have to wait and see. Though some info is given, as should be expected from this kind of CYA it isn't exactly specific. And it can't be. Still, nothing seems to be generating much positive response to the MP. Obviously, not here, but also not across several different gaming sites or news outlets - who knew ME would get attn from msnbc and usa today as breaking news, lol!
In this seriously down economy, with so many short on disposable income, everything is trending down on sales fronts. That will most assuredly decide how 'popular' MP is for ME buyers.

Don't re-read your previous post, you won't notice any changes.

So, getting an optimal outcome will be harder if I don't play MP and I don't want to play MP. It is my choice not to play, but doing so will gimp me.
Better be a brilliant SP campaign.

You're upset because they didn't listen to you. BSN hardly represents the entire ME fanbase. Plenty of people are looking forward to it
And plenty of people aren't. Someone else posted earlier that the reaction on places like Facebook was extremely negative compared to here.
Somehow, I don't think a lot of people were genuinely asking for this.
Agreed. This dualplayer element better be really weak so it doesn't overshadow the real game. (Like portal 2 dualplayer) That's the best I can hope for right now. How will they preserve the rpg element and have a dualplayer? Will it be a massive rpg or just a shooter? How do they expect to pull this off?

Bolded for emphasis. As it is, my interest in gaming is at AN ALL-TIME LOW. Modern Warfare 3's going to suck. I never gave a rat's ass about SkyRim, and as it is, only Arkham City, Mass Effect 3, and Saints Row 3 are the only games i desire.
