If there was a way to form the smaller squad according to your own taste, I wouldn't mind the situation either :)

I'm sorry to hear that, Babe Mause. Which were your favorites? Thane, Mordin, Wrex?

Exactly! Also, Jack and Grunt. I need at least one krogan on the team. Though, I don't remember seing solid info on them , so there's some hope.

Well, I still have my Garrus (the only favourite who got on confirmed list). Hope I will like that new guy Vega:)

All great characters. :wizard:

Yeah, no solid info on Jack and Grunt. I have a hunch Grunt's going to be fighting alongside Wrex on Tuchanka, especially with what we know of Vega's combat abilities at this point, but we'll see.

Jack I'd pin as having OK odds of permanent squadmate status though, if for no other reason than Casey Hudson liking her. We'll see!

Hmm. Interesting. I actually feel a little excitement for this game now. Too bad though, if it requires Origin I'll be a very sad customer.

Hi Everyone

Today BioWare and the Mass Effect 3 team are very pleased to announce 4 player co-op multiplayer missions and the Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War system for Mass Effect 3 on the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

[...]

That actually sounds amazing and seems to be well thought out instead of something forced or rushed.

Thanks for sharing. :o

Well im really on the fence about this multiplayer feature myself. I dont really know how its going to turn out but all I know is If they can put in co-op then they can put in my favorite squad as permanent. I dont really see the need for it and I think it should have been an afterthought personally. I think it should be completely seperate from the single player, by that I mean it shouldnt have any affect on how one or the other plays out.

The whole tie-in to the main game was done best in splinter cell: chaos theory imo, a few little one-off events that had sam talking with the players or completeing an objective for each other but you didnt have to do either thing for the game to assume that one side had been done.

Idk hopefully its good but I will remain skeptical until proven otherwise.

Also: she's an LI.  Might up the odds a bit.

The worst thing is that we can't even ignore the insidious thing and class it as something distinct because it actually impacts upon the single player playthrough, forced inevasibly into the SP formula.

Inevasibly.  There's a word you don't see very often.

Yeah...perhaps its one of my "inspired" (a.k.a. non-existent) words. Sounds pretty badass though.

No, it's a real word alright.  It's just very, very rarely used.

Oh, BTW, here's an ME quote you anti-MP folk can surely find some use for:

"I'm no fan either, but we're stuck with it."

It's like having a third arm you really don't need, but if it's gonna be there you better get used to it and embrace what it's capable of

becasue surely that's a good attitude to have.

I'm no fan of don't ask don't tell, but we're stuck with it

and tall me, oh wise multiplayer fans.  what exactly do you have agains an option of multiplayer levels being avalable for offline play using henchmen?  becasue at least that way, there's isn't a whole plethora of content that's been locked out from people who are "stuck with it"

Ho-ly shi-take mushrooms. That sounds ****ing amazing. Sign me up. However, remember my name. I suck at multiplayer anything. If you put me on your team you WILL wipe. Just a forewarning. Im not gonna want to hear anyone bellyaching cuz you died. I told you that you would!

So anyway...co-op as a volus. Discuss.

Hell yeah, discuss!

I've always wanted to see a Volus waddling around a battlefield with bullets flying around from all directions! If we could play as a Volus, I totally would...though the people I play with probably wouldn't appreciate me waddling into battle like a 'Volus Rambo' and immediately getting killed...but it would make me laugh Posted Image

Gives me a great idea for a co-op spin-off Mass Effect game...

Due to some unusual circumstances, Blasto is forced to team up with a Volus outlaw to take down an invading mysterious force that threatens Citadel Space. However, the new partners cannot stand eachother and the unlikely duo must set aside their differences to overcome this mysterious threat. You can just imagine the hilarity that ensues!

Hahaha...oooohhhh...

...what were we talking about?

True, it does tend to make it less exciting. We don't have to like it though :)

Oh, for Christ's sake, just take everything anyone says about this the worst possible way.   Hint: I wasn't mocking you.
I was giving you some gallows' humor meme material.

Many turians have taken off work to celebrate the Lukara Festival. A week-long celebration held every ten years, Lukara encourages participants to spend time during the day contemplating their place in their community, and what they can do to better serve their fellow turians. During the evening hours, participants gather with friends and family to engage in singing, dancing, and feasting. The largest celebration takes place on Palaven’s largest northern continent, where participants gather to watch the lukara beasts begin a difficult, cross-continent migration that is undertaken once a decade. “The lukara migration is the origin of the celebration,” said a public release from the turian embassy. “It is a difficult journey, but the lukara work together to reach their destination. The migration serves as a reminder of the importance of working together to achieve community goals.”

Don't ask don't tell was removed from teh military :D  Also don't see anyone who said anything about having a problem with you playing with computers, but if there was I am sorry they have said so I would approve with the option aswell.  Would like to just play with one other person and than other two players could be computers.

I know it was.  becasue people refused to just "be stuck with it"  and fought to fix it.  I proposed being able to play offline with henchmen as one of the possible compromices becasue as it stands right now - if you don't play multiplayer, you are basicaly paying for a wholelot of content you are not using, and its not bonus content contrary to the claims from some people here.
