Please Bioware do not add co-op achievments ethier in the main game or future dlc.
And why not? Unless you are that type of person that wants a 100% clear in every game they play.
It's an alternative mode so there must be some type of achievement for the people who plays it.

Am i one of the only ones thats stupidly excited for this. I always said that i wouldnt mind a multiplayer mode if it was implmented correctly, made sense and wasmt a cheap rushed mode, this sounds like its gonna be freaking amazing!
Dont get me wrong i'll still play the singleplayer game to death and that shall be my main focus but wow the chance to do co op with my friends on my favriote game trilogy ever its just awesome. I love the fact that its stand alone from the main game and that you dont play as any of the main in game characters you have to make your own, thats awesome as it keeps the single player and this co op mode seperate.
It sounds like this mode has been extremely well thought out, planned ans created so its going to feel like a natural expansion of something thats good by making it that little bit better. And it doesnt detract from the singleplayer experiance at all which was everyones biggest fears. I for one cant wait as this new feature sounds awesome, i'm glad i kept my faith in you BioWare as i have been richly rewarded and knew you wouldnt mess this up.
What i dont understand is why people are saying that they hate it and that it will ruin it already before actually having a chance to play it, you never know guys you could end up loving it.
I couldn't agree more. I was discussing this with my friend who got me into the seiries last night and we are both really excited to have the chance to finally play together instead always just comparing notes!

I didn't know that. Nice piece of info!Walker White wrote...
Oh, the Facebook game is coming. That was the entire point of renaming EA2D (makers of DA: Legends) as BioWare San Francisco.

The Reapers are attacking everybody, how is a multi-racial squad unrealistic? My only concern is about the possible exclusion of female aliens.
Well Gamble also said that we will be able to import dead Shepard and that Turians created genophage.
Oh and i think people are complaining that there are 4 people in that squad.
And that's a retcon since in ME1&2 there can only be 3 people.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting that. Well, it takes guts to admit a mistake.

You don't have to be good at multiplayer parties to be good at coop against bots...just good at ME.
And if you want to get all the achievements....then ya kinda have to play the whole game...including dlc...you made that choice by deciding to 100% the game...otherwise...leave those achievements alone...it's not like they'll get you anywhere in life...
I like to earn all achievments and 100% my games, it's a hobby that I enjoy. I am tired of great single player only games like assassin's creed, bioshock, dead space and now mass effect, having multiplayer modes tact on.

Multiplayer/Co-op is all part of Bioware's green energy initiative. They plan to harvest the bitter gamer tears of rage and use them as a renewable energy source. According to what I heard, they think they can power all of Calgary and half of Edmonton off the tears.

BAH. At least it's optional. As long no story content ends up in the multiplayer now or in the future. Someone such as myself, who doesn't have access to cable/dsl at home would feel really screwed if they missed out on any story due to it being only in the online multiplayer.
So why would they leave out story content because a few people don't have internet? I'm quite sure there's going to be an offline mode with bots, or solo perhaps. Even if there's not, that doesn't mean the people who have internet should get "screwed" since you don't. Ubisoft isn't doing that with their story driven multiplayer in ACR. Bioware hasn't stopped making facebook games because some people don't have/want facebook.

So you don't want to know how story driven the missions are, what type of customization we will see with the different races, the depth of the level progression, etc..???

Will that readiness be reflected in the single player game visibly via cutscenes or dialogue etc during gameplay in single player mode or will it be an invisible global number which fills up behind the scene's in just the code, with only the ending being affected at all. The magical bar filling up system that people stated earlier is not factual what the system will be I am only after actual information not assumptions here.
The way I see it "optimal" means the best possible ending with everyone saved no loss of planets or companions, it does not cover everything that has come before and all other gameplay aspects prior to the ending. That is the default "optimal" for most people, maybe even all people other than those grasping at straws making assumptions when I am asking for facts. Optimal means best and does not cover all non optimal or even touch on the subject of other features such as dialogue, cinematics (non ending) or missions, story based gameplay that is not part of the ending or even the non optimal endings given there will be vast amount of different endings optimal is merely one of those many. I want to know if this MP has (any) effect on any of those things I just mentioned and optimal ending phrase does not cover those aspects.
Is coop based on having to have four friends that have the same game and same system for that game to play? Will it be PUG or LFG based random people in team to make up numbers? Or can it be played as single player with AI controlled companions?

Other ways to fill your galactic readiness? Jesus, please don't integrate Facebook into Mass Effect 3, please.
Hypothetical situation, what if someone has no access to the internet but want's to play ME 3? How would that work?
If you have no access to the internet then you probably have bigger problems than experiencing a game mode in your $60 game, brah. Why not use that money and get a cable/fiber optic connection? Or are you... are you going to play this on your laptop???
I said hypothetical, fella. I obviously have access to the internet, FB, and Xbox Live/PSN, but what about the people that haven't got access to the interwebz, yet like to play Mass Effect offline on their console?
