If you really care to get 100%, you'll get friends or deal with some random people for a Co-Op achievements.

To YOU it is garbage, to others it is not. That is my point. Making it fair for EVERYONE. Some people enojy it, you obviously dont care. But, why ruin others enjoyment just because YOU dont care? See my point?

So, your saying I should be forced to socialize with people I do not want to deal with inorder to earn the 100% in a game? I think not. News flash. Not everyone is Mr Social. Not everyone enjoys having to deal with others all the time. Some people, which this may suprise you, are quite anti-social. It is called being an Introvert. It does't mean there is something wrong with us either. Introverts are very creative and artistic. We enjoy the quite of solitude and doing things on our own. We are all different people.

your the type of person EA loves

The type that sits and plays the same game over and over rather then buying a new EA game every time it is released.

That seems like a poor buisness choice.

Thats not me. I buy and play many games, on both PS3 and X360 for that matter.

Worry about a watered down Single Player Experience and the fact that optional is a funny word, espcially when it looks to not be as optional as the PR faq says.

You have no proof of that.

Nor is there really that much proof to the contrary.  So looks like an impasse.

Playing MP gives you something of a boost to your playthrough, it does nothing but boost that "galaxy readiness' meter thing. You can max it out even without MP if you played all the cards right.

Why don't you get it, dudes? You lose nothing, they gain nothing. It's gonna be the same ending. It's equal.

We lose single player missions which could have been done with the time/money.

This x1000
I don't want MP I won't play the MP. But I want to play as much ME3 as possible. Any mission that is MP could have been a SP mission instead.

Incorrect. The CO-Op portion was done by a seperate team with seperate resorces without that team and co-op we would get the exact same game.

How do you figure? if the SP is equal to or longer than ME2... what are we missing out by the added benefit of a CooP mode? Thats designed by a different studio, solely for inclusion?  Heck I personally wont play MP much as I dont play MP very much lately anyway, but i'm not gonna gripe about an added feature to the game.  It'd be like complaining that resources for kinect support took away from SP as well....which i dont see being the case. As the cost/benefit ration usually doesn't play out like that.

Some people wait a year or until all the DLC is released and buy the GOTY or Ultimate Edtions. I am one of them. I wont be nickle and dimed to death by DLC prices.

What kinda bull is this?

Being anti-social is not a good thing for anyone.

Besides, you being here replying to me is a social activity.
If you can bother to reply to me and so with the other I think you can easly do a Co-Op with other people as well.

Besides, Bioware never did any insane achievement like Ubisoft and games like Mass Effect don't have hard to do achievements.

You are mixing up being anti-social and having a social phobia, being anti-social is fine and healthy as long as it is nothing extreme and does not cause yourself or others harm.   But that is not the point.

And you are correct about the past Achievements in Mass Effect, my issue is that adding MP achievements is going to alienate some players, and players that hae an intrest in and alway go for the 100% may not be able to at this point because of it.

The PR faq says "alternative" means of advancement... do you not know what that means?

if SP is same or longer than ME2 or ME1.... then how would we be watered down?  Devs have already stated the main portion of the game is equal length to ME2, so i dont see what were losing here.

What was released is a PR faq rushed out because there was tremendous outrage going on.  You believe everything you read?  Especially in those circumstances where opinion is swinging against the person writing?

As  far  as  I'm  concerned,  if  it's not on a separate disk marked "multiplayer" or a Day 1 dlc i can choose not to install, it's not optional enough.

I agree being Anti-Social is bad. Once you start its hard to change your ways from being Anti-social but its worth it onces you take the time to change.  I will admit i am mainly anti-social and ive been working at not being one but its hard to change my ways in that. You know what they say about bad habits, they are the hardest to break and thats because it seems so much easier to just stay in the shell you created for yourself.

MP achievements are usually hard to get but since this MP is just Co-Op its not going to be hard for you to get, all you need to do is find someone to play with through the whole thing and you should get all the achievements. There is a chance there might be one to beat Co-Op on insane but general Co-Op achievements are easy to get unlike competitive MP.

But why are you insisting I can't have my MP fun along with your SP fun? Why is it so deafeningly abhorrent that ME3 has content that AIN'T ALL ABOUT YOU?
