The race mechanic is seriously looking to be my favorite aspect of this co-op. Part of me wants to play against type; Quarian Soldier, Krogan Engineer, Asari Infiltrator, etc.

But another, more munchkinely, part of me really wants to try to find the most powerful combo right away. Right off the bat I'm leaning toward thinking a melee orientated Krogan Vanguard would be unstoppable.

A Krogan that can use a -- trying to be realistic haha, slower version of charge, or something along that to enhance melee would be fwoopin' brootal.

I really do hope they allow for full-customization when it comes to these characters. Some face sliders or other race-oriented details to tweak appearance, even, would be top-notch, to really make our co-op characters our own.

@Ferris; it would be TOO good if they let us customize the actual appearance of our characters in a deeper way than just armor and what not. Here's to hoping because that would be freaking awesome.
