So with the news about the co-op I told some friends who were excited but unfortunately we each own different systems. I have a PC and my friends who I know will be buying this have a 360 and PS3. While I know Microsoft has a problem with cross-platform when Sony is involved, look at Counter Strike:GO and Portal 2, would you guys like cross-platform between PC and the consoles?

As a co-op game I don't see a reason not to have it. Portal 2 is a great game and I love that I can play with my friends who bought it on the PS3 and look at Counter Strike Global Offensive. Cross-platform with a PS3, PC and Mac and the PS3 version even supports mouse and keyboard.

But I don't see how that can happen with a co-op game. So it would just add to the multiplayer component imo.

How would it be implemented NO games are cross platform, so why would this be, and why would I want some X-Boxers lagging out my 10Mbps connection or ruining my 60fps, no thanks on cross platform.

Shadowrun, the fps was cross-platform between 360 and PC users
Portal 2 had PS3 and PC cross-platform and even a ministeam client on the Ps3
Counter Strike Global Offensive will also have cross-platform between PC, Mac and PS3. The PS3 will also be allowed to use a keyboard and mouse.

There are ofcourse other games but these are the latest games I can think of. Also you do know that the co-op is OPTIONAL? You don't have to play with who you don't want to and to not want a feature because you don't wanna deal with 360 users is foolish.

Right...your opinion is not fact and Counter Strike is still one of the most played online games and Portal 2 is a great game story and gameplay wise and is fully deserving of it's review scores.

Cross platform would be awesome. My wife and I have two xboxes, but I would prefer that I play PC and she play where she prefers.

Cross platform would be cool, but I don't think it will happen. Not very many games for right now do cross platform even the major multiplayer games. If not many major multiplayer games do it why should a game with multiplayer being a small part do it.

No. When will you people get it that you physically can't play crossplatroform with a PC? Bot would be more useful to a PC player than someone playing with a pad.

im not sure y people like ME on the PC tbh.
i understand dragon age, but not ME. ME seems like a game dats better on consoles - only edge pc has is easy access to mods n stuff like dat

I hate the controls of consoles with a keyboard and mouse its a ease for me.

My PC can probably handle all three Mass Effects running on three different monitors.  Not everyone has a gimp rig.  Also I hate aiming with the thumbstick.

Post some screenshots and I'll show you exactly why we like it on PC....either game is fine....

OH ya have fun pausing and using your "power wheel" LOL.

You don't aim on consoles... you face the generall direction of your enemy and let the game do the rest.

also we got quick map buttons so u dont have to always pause dam yall nikkas smh

Another reason why I don't like consoles that much( don't hate them just prefer PC) is aim assit I hate that, I like the control you have with PC.

PC players have an unfair advantage. The mouse will always be quicker than the game pad. I don't think cross platform would ever work for a shooter.

GMag... honestly. If an xbox can handle it, it means a PC rig bought in a supermarket can.
Because that's what an x360 is - a 6 years old pc rig.
