Can we play as the Collector race?! please :(

Whoa, I hadn't thought of that. Collectors would be awsome to have in co-op. I just wonder how their 'flying' would be handled?

Why would you want to fight for the Reapers?

Just posting to add my voice to the many cries to not take out the ability to solo the co-op missions, for all the reasons already articulated.

Outstanding Bogsnot, way to take some initiative. The thanks to Brenon for providing soem answers.

Now I have a question of my own.

I have read that there will only be Cerberus operatives that we have to fight in MP, my question will we ever be able to fight Reaper minions during the MP?

I dont like the idea of the multiplayer co op, especially ahievments, but as long as they can be done solo then it wont be so bad. With regards to dlc please dont release map packs only, I, like a lot of people, want quality single player dlc similar to Liar of the Shadow Broker.

Updated with new questions, and with Brennon's answers. Note, I may have missed some in the dozen odd pages that popped up since I went to bed, or while I was updating with the new ones.

And for the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster people, read the first post before you come in asking questions. If you have thought of it, theres at least a 50% chance that someone else has thought of it, and asked.

Certain questions I wont ask, due to that the answer might contain spoilers that certain community members will rage about if they see it.  Hence, no locations, no monster types etc.

If Origin is off-topic to this forum, I take it as a confirmation Origin won't be required for ME3 at all. Up to devs to correct me if I'm wrong.

No, just general Origin discussion is off topic for this thread. I have asked if it will be required in general, or just for MP, or at all. Lets wait for an answer. If people want to discuss Origin's T&C's, "spyware" behaviour and such, I suggest they go to the Off-Topic section of Bioware General Forums and start a thread there.

they won't answer anything before the video and just will answer the questions already answered in the video after it's up.
I think you all can only hope they'll answer actual questions in the video. But I fear it'll tell us how awesome it's gonna be and how ME3 is the best game to dive into the trilogy Oo

Wow... I didn't think we would get that piece of nothing as an Bioware Pulse episode, NOTHING that hasn't been said before (well maybe that all classes are available) or at least nothing new that you couldn't guess yourself.
Sad how right I was...
Edit: At least in regards to the BP episode I was right, but I misjudged the devs, someone answered and there was much more detail than I anticipated, thx for that ; )

It's best never to get one's hopes up with these things. This happens often, really.

Not everyone has the time, bandwidth, or accepting bosses to watch videos. A webpage open in the background that they can skim over when they have time is much easier.

Why I'm not surprise about the fact that BioWare ignores the question about Origin?

Well, better luck with the new Origin-Thread.

Just to make surre the multiplay is completely optional and won't affect single-player if you don't want it to?

Also is it true about the design your own alien thing?

1.) Correct.

2.) Uh, well yes, but we don't know the limitations yet.

They are the ones we currently know we'll be fighting. There may be more.

@Stardusk78: Read the announcement thread stickied at the top of the forum. Not all of it, just Chris's initial post will do.
@Talosred: Read the announcement thread, the initial list of questions, and my response earlier on this page.

Will the ME3 Multiplayer have a random queue system for a sole or a group of players that wants to play at any time of the day?

Example of step-by-step process

Step1: Make a role or classes selection

Step 2: Find a group

Step 3: Wait in the queue

Step 4: There are enough people!

Step 5: Is everyone ready

Step 6: Free teleport to the ME3 Multiplayer level if all ready

Step 7: Game on

If there is a random que system. So a player left, or a player gets disconnected. How does the party add a replacement member?

Example of step-by-step process

Step 1.  Somebody in the group opens the Multiplayer finder frame and answers "yes" on the refill screen

Step 2.  The other party members confirm their roles or classes

Step 3.  The party joins the queue

Step 4.  When a replacement is found, the new member will be teleported to the party leader's current location

Step 5.  Game on

I would love to see ME3 Multiplayer have a random queue system for all gamers please :D

I assume you didnt bother reading the initial post.

- Will there be a match-making service, or a generic waiting room in which players can assemble and them form teams? Or will they have to plan out the teams in advance?

and

Q) Can the MP mode be done solo, for those who either dont like MP, or want an extra challenge to finish the game without squadmates?
A) Currently, yes... but it's pretty hard. Though a lot of that depends on difficulty.

Q) Further to this, are 4 players definately required, or can it be done with 2, or 3? Will there be AI to fill out the teams if 4 are required?
A) You can play with less than 4 players.

Will the choice of race have more consequences than how you look and maybe what classes you can choose from?

Will the MP be all about combat or will there be other elements such as multiplayer-hacking of complex systems or dialogue and choices. Like this:
[Dialogue] Instructor: You have to hurry to get to the other side of the mountain, before the bomb is dropped, but if you take the road on the left, you might be able to evacuate a lot of people, while if you take the road on the right, you may still find the artifact we have lost to the enemy. There are enemies on both sides.
Salarian PC: Ok, let's go the left way. We have to help those people.
Krogan PC: Yes, go there. I'll take the other way. More enemies for me to kill then.
[Chat: Salarian PC] Damn, I would have needed your help there, I doubt I will be able to save them all alone.
[Chat: Krogan PC] See you on the other side of the mountain. We mustn't waste time, remember?

Highly unlikely to have this kind of decisions, if it is optional to play with 4, 2 or just 1 player. And I have to admit I'm glad you are not forced to play with 4. ;-) But maybe different kinds of decisions?

You mean will there be enforced RP? By the FSM's noodley appendage, I hope there isnt. Besides, both Wrex and the Polite Krogan have shown that not all Krogans are "Kill kill kill!"

A) You can play with less than 4 players.

This should have been done in two questions instead, now the "AI" part is still un-answered, so I just want to add this one:

Q) Will we be able to use AI squadmates to complete multiplayer?

I take that to mean that there will be no AI, just yourself, and however many people join you in that mission.
