Can we play the co-op solo or do you have to have 4 people everytime? it should scale with the more or less people you have if i can do it solo
According to Brenon @ BW, you can play the Co-Op campaign solo, but it will be harder (naturally).

Seriously, does anyone read the first post, or should I just stop maintaining this thread and let chaos ensue?

My set of questions:
- Will the multiplayer missions be divided between different species? For example just Turians defending Palaven, or a Quarian/Geth mission, or will it be a total mashup?
- Are we going to see some unique skills availble just in MP mode, or is it going to be just a mix of known powers?
- Are the custom characters going to be voiced-over and have some non-combat lines to say in cut-scenes before/after the mission?
- Is the gameplay going to look like a standard "Death match" or "Domination" game?
- Are we going to see GOW-like gameplay? Meaning reviving your fallen companions and failing the mission when all the squad has fallen?
- Will different species have 'class restrictions' excluding the logical ones (like no biotics for Turians)? In other words - will you be able to play as a non-stereootypical class, like Krogan Infiltrator?
- Will the MP missions be systematically unlocked at certain points of SP campaign?
- Will 4 players be necessary to play the MP missions, or AI would replace the missing players?
- Will I be able to equip 6 omni-blades on a hanar?
- The codex hints that the armed Elcor have loads of firepower. Will they be playable as an artillery-like class?
- Will Elcor husks be expressing their intentions in huskian? Like: "Hsssahhhh: Wraaaaaaghhhaaassshh!"
- Will there be a Vorcha Trickmaster class?
- Will there be an Ardat-Yakshi Necromancer class?

Poor Brenon he's already been quoted like a million times in 100 different threads(by the way he's also said: "it's not final yet", but no one quoting that). I'm too scared to think what would happen if BW decided not to allow solo mp.
Hmm: "Solo multiplayer" - doesn't sounds quite right...

I think they're taking this into account. Realize that all SP is combat-wise, is a series of 3-player Co-op missions in which 2 of your squadmates are controlled by AI.

There are plenty of novelty toys you can buy in brown paper bags which do just that. Use plenty of lube.

I just hope quarians will make the species selection cut. That's what my wife is dying to play, and I'm dying to play with her. If not initially included, maybe the quarians could be the first multiplayer DLC, a free one with purchase of the game (like the Cerberus Network Activation in ME2).
Need Quarians as a multiplayer race (and not through dlc).

It was possible in BG and BG2, so its not quite as absurd, or unfamiliar to Bioware, as it may seem.

I wonder if everyone has to pick a different race? Or could you have a whole team of lets say Krogan?
If you did, you would then be required to name the squad "Mean Machine".
Haha, it would be
So the question "Does every player have to pick a different race?"

Do the ME3 prologue at least. Familiarise yourself with the controls and new power evolutions, so you dont look like a herpyderp in co-op.

Bioware may want to do some open beta/demo testing on the co-op multiplayer server(s). In house can only do some much. I have seen a lot of multiplayer games not beta/demo test and just where failures. By no means am I saying that it will fail, but The list of failures due to not have a open demo/beta test is very, very long. I am just doubting if the servers for the co-op or a more of a multiplayer will be able to handed the stress put on them. As well as the numerous bugs, game glitches and server crashes. That I can see being a possible major problems.
I agree, they should open it up to the regulars in the Tech support forums at the very least. Hey look, I'm one of them.

In other words, can I have shotgun-wielding Salarian Infiltrator?

Certainly the most important question for me, since I expect EA to shut down the servers ~2 years after release if they're provided by them, so could you add something like:
If not, will it be made available as soon as the servers go down?
I like to play old games, and tomorrows games are... well wait 2 years and maybe you'll also like to play a round co-op with your friends

There are biotic Turians in the lore, they are just rare.. check the wiki for more info, or recognise that Saren used biotics
And we can tell Turians will be able to have biotics in the co-op too, as evidenced by the 'Turian Sentinel' in one screenshot

Wonder if the classes will be weapon-specific, like they were ME1/2, but allegedly not in ME3

Why would MP be any different in this respect than SP? Yes, you can have a shotgun toting Salarian Infiltrator.
@CaolIla: Question added about local co-op.
@Blooddrunk: Added, although I think it might just be the generic sounds Shep makes under certain situations.
@graciegrace: As Casey mentioned in the Bioware Pulse episode linked to in Chris's post at the top of the forum, SP was done by Edmonton, MP was done by Montreal. 2 seperate offices were putting their resources into 2 seperate aspects of the game. I shouldnt worry too much.

Second, I'd really like to know for absolute certain whether it requires Origin or not. I have a feeling that that's an affirmative, though I hold on to the slight possibility that I'm wrong.
