if it's a separate story campaign, are our multiplayer characters playing their part in dialogue scenes or is it more of a environmental storytelling, ie hearing your orders/exposition through radio and such?
Added. I would say more environmental story-telling, like the "hold the gates" scene in DA:O. I doubt you would hear much of Shepards order etc through radiom given that each player would more than likely be up to different stages in the SP game.
