if it's a separate story campaign, are our multiplayer characters playing their part in dialogue scenes or is it more of a environmental storytelling, ie hearing your orders/exposition through radio and such?

Added. I would say more environmental story-telling, like the "hold the gates" scene in DA:O. I doubt you would hear much of Shepards order etc through radiom given that each player would more than likely be up to different stages in the SP game.

I am not sure if this has been asked, but I'll fire it anyway. How does pause and the radial meny work in multiplayer and will class abilities function sameway in MP, like they do in singleplay?

Damn good question. Ive already got one up about time dilation powers, but powers having a friendly fire effect cold be interesting. I'll add this one up as well.

Good idea Bogsnot, I got some questions I have a hankering for an answering to:

Given that two discs were required for ME2, and with the possibility ME3 will follow suit, will the Multiplayer have a separate disc or executable? (I yearn for the ages past of 6 disc games!)

Will there be any Squad Wide Ammo Powers? (eg. Squad Warp ammo)

If someone drops out of the co-op during a match/round, will their position be filled by an AI? Will we have to wait for a new player to connect? Or are we all dumped back to the menu?

As an addendum to the question about "soloing" in multiplayer, I would like to know if 2 or 3 person teams can complete multiplayer missions without finding a full group of four.

My wife and I love playing games together, especially of the co-op variety. I introduced her to Mass Effect and she LOVES it, but in multiplayer games she gets insecure about her playing skill and doesn't like to group with strangers. None of our friends are likely to play ME3, but I'd still like to be able to play Galaxy at War with her.

Will a group be able to fill out their team with AI-driven companions? Or might the difficulty scale down for smaller groups?

Also, will groups choose a difficulty level or choose to enter matches of a given difficulty, or will there be a standard difficulty level set for all multiplayer missions (comparable to Veteran or Hardcore or the like)?

That's what I was wondering too, but I think multi-player will be restricted to combat. A confirmation would be nice though.

Will we be able to disconnect MP from SP manually, i.e. we don't want the current MP to have any impact on the SP game currently in the works, but play MP anyhow without comprimising one's roleplaying in the SP playthrough?

@VVM: Questions added.

@Neofelis: I think that might be covered under the question of whether Galaxy at War will impact all SP campaigns, or just the current one.
edit: added as an addendum to that question.

since the multiplayer affects the single player story my question is this:
Is it accessible from the main menu or from within the single pĺayer game?

Has been asked, albeit in a different format, by ViceVersaMan.

how will weapon modding be worked into the co op game? Is it a selectable preset before starting the mission or are the workbenches available as well?

Is Co-op going to be cross platform, or will each platform be restricted to its own network?

MS does not allow cross platform multiplayer for Xbox360 titles.

We don't fully know that especially with the new windows 8 which will becoming out soon. They are doing a lot of changes with your Xbox live account and your windows account. Those rules might change. We will see what happens. I however as an Xbox 360 player wouldn't want to play with someone on the PC because it won't be very accurate especially if the PC player has mods.

@nightcobra : Question added.

@Tooneyman: It wouldnt be limited to Win8, as we also have the PS3 crowd to take into consideration. If Windows/Xbox was allowed, but excluded PS3, you would have certain government agencies looking at Microsoft for anti-competative/monopolistic behaviour, something which MS seriously want to avoid having to go through again.
I also have a question in place regarding 3rd party modding, and how it will affect the MP mode.

i hope that developers will answer questions that are on this thread.
I swear that half of the question they will recieve from twitter and etc will be "Why did you put multiplayer in ME" in new Bioware Pulse episode.

Feel free to ask more questions folks. Lets not clutter up the forums with 100 different threads today asking questions, only for people to clutter then up tomorrow with 100 identical threads asking the same questions.

i would love that to happen but something tell me it won't

 I'm more interested in the co-op after reading about Galaxy at War, it sounds much better than competitive multiplayer and as long as the Single player turns out great which I don't doubt it will, I don't have any problem with the addition.
I just hope that it will be large-scale battles rather than 4 people against an army gameplay.

I'm actually hoping this was answered already and one of my forum broseph's or brosphine's can help out, seen as MP ties into SP, what happens if you decide not to play the the MP, how will that affect your SP?

I'm honestly curious about how much more GBs this'll be adding to ME3. Standard ME3 game, we're looking at around about 10GBs, how much more will having Co-Op add?
