Is the co-op going to have anything to do with choices and dialouge trees?

Do we have to play MP to 1000/1000 the game?

I plan to buy the game at release, but being a new father I may not be able to play at release. Attainging an "Earn level XX in MP" or other MP based acheivement is pretty easy at release, but 6 months down the road I have to organize 'helpers' to get 1000/1000.

This! ^

...and to expound upon such an implementation..

Will/can the difficulty vary depending on the no. of players in your team - with additional emphasis on making the a 1-player team (i.e. solo) the easiest challenge on the automatic sliding scale?

Hmm, my question mirrors the one about disassociation but I would like a more specific answer: will we be able to reproduce exactly the same results without this 'Galaxy at war' with in-game methods such as planet scanning/other minigames etc. or are there "MP-excusive" endings possible?

I'm actually hoping this was answered already and one of my forum broseph's or brosphine's can help out, seen as MP ties into SP, what happens if you decide not to play the the MP, how will that affect your SP?

Read Evil Chris's thread.

I guess its too much like hard work to actually check to see if the questions have already been asked, or if Chris P has already provided info in the stickied thread.

Will some races have class limitation?

For example:

Geth can not be biotic class.
Krogan with Tech powers? Doubtful to be Tech class.
Asari can only be Biotic class( maybe).

Since we can have 4 player on our team in the Co-op does this also mean that we can have 4 players on our team in the SP?

@Mesina2: Added.

@Anacronian: Added, but doubtful given what we have seen of the demo.

they won't answer anything before the video and just will answer the questions already answered in the video after it's up.
I think you all can only hope they'll answer actual questions in the video. But I fear it'll tell us how awesome it's gonna be and how ME3 is the best game to dive into the trilogy Oo

I have a question (please post). It sounds contradictory, but would it be possible to play co-op offline or as a single player? Meaning, I know there's the Mass Effect 3 single player Shepard story (obviously), but as for the co-op mode is it possible to play that single player and possibly create our own team of squadmates, except your squadmates are AI controlled versus being controlled by other players?

If you read the first post, you would know this question has already been asked.

I just wanna know if there will be cross-platform! Microsoft has a problem with that for some reason but look at games like Portal 2 and soon Counter Strike Global Offensive. They are both available on the PS3 and 360 but only the PS3, PC and Mac can play together online.

Would Bioware consider cross-platform? I'm really the only PC gamer of my friends and would like to play with them since it's co-op it wouldn't be much trouble like it was in Shadowrun a cross-platform shooter on 360 and PS3 (I know not an rpg)

I'd like to know if our stats and characters will appear on BSN, like with DAO and DA2.

Is anyone bothering to read the first post, or have I justed wasted my time compiling all the questions from various threads and posts?

@AwesomeEffect2: That has nothing to do with the MP side of things.

Cross platform would be a godsend, my only friends who play Mass Effect do it on the PS3 and PC respectively, while it's the 360 for me. But as always, MS or Sony would probably prohibit any such thing.

Will thur be multiplayer dialogue, akin to SWTOR? Will thur be much storyh in Co-op or just ghameplay??

I don't know if this has been asked, but how will MP "have a direct impact on the single player campaign"? And will it only affect the host's single player or that of all players?

Another question:
Is there a "non vocal communication" system: something that lets you communicate with your team without using the microphone/headset.
If yes what will we be able to say?

I'm not sure I like the whole idea of multiplayer in this franchise. This franchise has been billed from the beginning as a single player experience, even hints were dropped in the cover story in Game Informer that a MMO may be in the distant future, thats all well and good, but if this truly is the story of Shepard, this annoucement, however small an impact it would have on the "Single Player Campaign" portion, would weaken it. Its my belief that a core signatures of gameplay of this franchise will suffer development constraints to implement the multiplayer facet. Hell, the cinematic experience will, in itself, be broken a bit for me by the multiplayer, even if it has no bearing on the Single Player, just by being on the menu screen. Character death in this franchise means death, no coming back, Alenko, Williams, Wrex, all squadmates in ME2..... this will really break the immersion of these choices, making them seem more cavalier.

To be honest, I don't know how big the outcry for multiplayer has been from the consumers of both ME and ME2, I tend to think this was driven via "In House" by folks that see GOW and Halo franchises (similar genre: sci fi story driven) implementing it.

I can see a slippery slope where the consumer is maybe enticed to import "their Shepard" or "their Squadmates" for a fee, not to mention opening the game up to "Map Packs" and eventually, additional weapon packs for use strictly via multiplayer.

Updated with Cjall's question. Others have either already been asked, or answered in Chris P's announcement thread.

Can we play some co-op missions just for fun, without things affecting the SP Campaign?
