The Normandy arrives at the coordinates for Mars... but only debris remains.

SHEPARD: "What the hell happened? The Reapers destroyed the entire planet!"

EDI: "Incorrect, Shepard. This explosion was caused by the co-op campaign. Four players simultaneously fired off the Cain heavy weapon. No trace of Mars survived."

SHEPARD: "Dammit, EA!"

Probably would be same result if 4 M-490 Blackstorms were fired...

*Co-Op team in big shootout with some Cerberus Operatives near the core of Mars, fire off 4 salvos of Blackstorm weaponry... suddenly Mars collapses within before what remains as explosion fires off scattering into chunks*

Scanned the OP but couldn't find this question.

Will the team be able to consist of 2 or more of same class? ie. Could we potentially have 2 or more Vanguards and thus create a VanWich with an enemy combatant with the vanguards charging at them from either side :wizard:

^ Added.
I'm also interested in what happens when a Vanguard with Area Charge aims for his own Sentinel team mate with Assault Armour who is surrounded by enemies.
Mushroom cloud?

But I'm interested in BioWares point of view about this matter. A few days ago, I read in an article, that BioWare made his own decisions without influence of EA. Is this info incorrect?

And the Origin-Thread was closed with the link to this Thread. So my question should be as important as this hole co-op stuff.

Origins is an EA product, not a Bioware product.
Quite frankly, I dont care how important you think your question is, it is not relevant to the topic of this thread, irrespective of what links were provided when the other thread was closed.

Nothing is stopping you from creating an Origins discussion thread in the Bioware General section of the forums.

Aha. I understand. And BioWare and EA aren't one and the same thing, right?

And why do you simple put my question to your list? Is it so nasty or dangerous?

I guess you are having a hard job reading what Bogsnot1 wrote.. here I'll bold and capitalise the main point for you.

Is your question to do with Multiplayer? No.

Is this topic a Multiplayer Frequently Asked Questions topic? Yes

Thus his point is perfectly clear why it isn't added.

EA owns Bioware, and have done since 2007. Bioware can still make some decisions, but ultimately they have to do what their boss tells them to do.
The reason why I wont put the question on the list, is that it has nothing to do with co-op gameplay, and I dont want this to become an Origins complaint thread, and subsequently get locked for straying off topic.
There are 2 Origins related questions in the first post, and thats all I will have. Any specific questions regarding Origins is best suited for the Bioware General forums I provided the link to earlier.

Will we be able to give our Co-Op characters names, or will they just be our login IDs with generic race/class names?

And no one seems to read whatever I post. As I wrote: BioWare closes the Origin-Thread without giving an answer to the main question. And then they link this to this thread. How can a question about Origin be offtopic when BioWare itself link this to this thread?

But I see. This is apparently the politic of silence to hush the critics of Origin. And what should it gain to make a new thread about Origin beside the repeated close-down of this new thread?

Edit: Please call me the name of the current oficial Origin-Thread.

Go start your own thread. You used a loaded question to take a thinly veiled shot at Bioware and now you're complaining that we're trying to quiet you in some large conspiracy. The questions that people want asked on Origin are already in this topic. I really don't need to know, or care, if people think Bioware is screwing them over. If you want to start an argument, go do it somewhere else. Not in a topic where people have serious questions they want Bioware to answer.

I read what you post, and I answer it, but you just dont get it. Both this forum, and this thread, are about ME3, and the Co-op gameplay. Origins is a completely seperate program produced by EA, and has no relevance in this section of the forum.
I have given you a link to the Bioware General section of the forums in which you can go along and start a thread to discuss Origins, but you are either ignoring it, too lazy to post there, or just plain trolling.
You can even go to EA's forums and post there about Origins. I dont care, just do not post in my thread again, unless you have a question thath is relevant to ME3 co-op, and does not concern Origins.
Post in here again, and you'll be reported for spam.
Now, do us all a favour and go away

here you have the origin thread. When you look on the last post, you will see that this thread was closed with refering to this thread, so we can discuss this topic (origin) here, too. That wasn´t our idea but Biowares. So don´t complain when every person who wants to discuss the Origin problem comes to this thread.

That thread was changed from "Will Origin be required to play ME3?" to "Will Origin be required to play ME3, now that Multiplayer has been confirmed?"
The link was provided pertains to Origins requirements for ME3 co-op. If you want an general Origins discussion thread, go elsewhere.

yeah but the main topic was Origin. About 50 pages or so. Bioware decided that the official main thread to Origin should be here, so here we are.

No they didn't. Stan linked this thread specifically to ask whether or not Origins would be required for the MP. That question is already in the opening post. This thread is not to discuss Origin as a whole. Do that somewhere else.

Edit to make it clearer: "Let's take this questions, and many other questions you might have about the recent ME3 announcement, to this FAQ thread. More information is coming tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 12). Thank you."

This question being the thread title of "Will Origins be required to play ME, now that multiplayer has been confirmed" and the recent ME3 announcement being multiplayer. This is the multiplayer FAQ thread. General Origin questions go elsewhere.

The "Origin"-Thread is one month old and it's name was edited yesterday. I have send a pm to Stanley Woo to please explain his decision. Maybe it was a mistake. I hope he can wash away this misunderstanding.

- How will CE and/or DLC equipment be handled with Co-op? Will non CE/DLC owners get to have a taste of what the equipment is like, or will they be out of luck and can only be insanely jealous?

- How, exactly, will co-op and Galaxy at War preparedness work with the SP campaign? Extra missions, resources, cannon fodder to throw at the Reapers? Blooddrunk1004

- If it's a separate story campaign, are our multiplayer characters playing their part in dialogue scenes or is it more of a environmental storytelling, ie hearing your orders/exposition through radio and such? Nightcobra892b

CE/DLC will only be affected in the SP campaign, any armor and weapons will most likely have a default setting, or specific weapons to each class for balance. For example, the soldier would have access to the big three (revanant, claymore, widow) while only one with be restricted to other classes- Vanguard gets claymore and Infiltrator gets widow. Other classes wouldn't get access to them because of their power usage. Armor is probably all preset because they are armies, they need to look the same. The only thing customizable is the physical character and their powers. Weapons and armor are either upgraded in field or preset for balance, most likely preset.

Already been stated that Galaxy at War affects one thing in the SP mission, and that would be galaxy readiness. "Though it can be achieved to maximum in the SP campaign, it is just an alternative way of getting there." Direct quote from Chris in another forum. :P

Story telling. No one is going to want to wait for someone else to pick a dialouge statement and listen to it. I'm assuming there would be a cutscene at the start and end of the mission to state what happened.

Is galactic readiness balanced assuming that you will play multiplayer, or that you wont?

Like Fredvdp it is Origin not Origins. You didn´t correct the question under General. ^_^
