3 , 4 , 5 also works for the recipe quest =D don't make it so complicated. it seems like the only thing that matter is, that you take less cheese then fish and less fish then navet

Can anyone tell me where I can find the splitters for Fenris' amulet?
There are two amulets lying around that look the same as the one that activates the quest before that sidequest actually activates and then there are two lying on the almost-impossible-to-loot-chest but none of them even sparkle? Is that a bug or am I just not finding the right ones?

One of Isabela's quests is also for amulets.  Hers look exactly the same as his so these are probably the ones you're seeing.

you need to use more than just your main character to get the colored runes. then while standing at opposite side of the rune mixer the two characters put the yellow and blue runes on the mixer, then you wil activate the mixer and get the green rune. thats how you open each of the green and purple doors.

Actually the Green door you can solo. The purple one needs assistance.

Uhm... you can solo the entire colored rune section, there's no need at all to use multiple characters for the mixer. I've done about 5 playthroughs now, each time solo in that area. Just select one colored rune, add it to the mixer. Go get the second colored rune, add it to the mixer. Et voila! New colored rune.

Revan654 have Hawke and Tallis stand on the switches right in front of the chests, that worked for me.

btw, Do you need certain Companion in your party for it to activate? Their is no Quest Marker above it. Where medallion does.

you need to open the door behind you, before you can loot

Is there any way to stop Tallis from leaving with the scroll? My anti-Qunari Hawke is not amused that he can't even try to do anything. :(

From a story perspective, I'm glad that I can't try anything to take the scroll. From a roleplaying perspective, I'm a smidgeon disappointed.

Were Hawke to actually get the scroll and use it against the Qunari agents and those who abandoned the Qun, Hawke would be just as much of a tyrant as Meredith. Even if it were for the greater good -- and that depends on the individual -- Hawke would be killing innocents.

That said, here's an instance where I would've appreciated at least having the option of trying and having Tallis whoop my ass all Tallis-y.

Also, I approve of Hawke pulling a Horatio Caine:

Looks like the Duke.... has fallen from grace.

I swear I expected Bioware to have slipped in a clip of the beginning of CSI: Miami after Hawke said that. If only Hawke had some badass shades in-game

I was just wondering if there is anything more to The Wishing Well Quest than just throwing the caprice coins into the water & getting XP?? Anybody know?

I think that was it. Don't take me on my word for this, but I think you also receive an item if you toss in all 5.

Does anyone know how many coins you could get for the wishing well? I only got 4 until I entered the Chateu. Then, the quest ended.
3 lay around and one from Prospers son.

Five coins, one can be bought from the merchant.

I'm wondering if there might be a certain pattern to throwing the coins in at particular corners of the wishing well. Like if you go only counter-clockwise, or some such. I've tried a few different possibilities, but so far nothing special happens.

Thanks Etheral Writer, I must have missed one coin on my first playthrou. The quest finishes after 5 coins are thrown in. I did alternate with tallis to see if anything else happened but no. Not much of a game!!

You've got to buy one more from the merchant (standing over in the area with the tables and roasting pig, as well as that scholar you found earlier).

Maybe obvious answer to question is obvious, but what do we even get for completing the floor picture puzzle? That painting becomes visable, which is just like, yay?, but other than that it seems rather anti-climactic. Have I missed something?

I think there are 5 total. Three laying around outside, one u can buy from a merchant, and the final guy u get the key from gives Hawke a caprice as well.

You get xp for throwing, xp for completing it, and I think it said I received an item when I finished it but the text is so small and blurry on the xbox that I can't be for certain, lol. If it does give you an item, it must not be that impressive for me to have noticed it. But this is me using my cheater L50 (well 48 but close enough :P)  Hawke with the item pack dlc's so there's not too much that compares to those items, lol. Basically, I'd just do it for the XP because it's not like it's hard and time consuming, it's a nice little nod to Leandra and sweet that Hawke plays the game, there's a few lol dialogues as u collect the peices too.

So I've got a question:

In addition to the quest to collect random objects, there are supposedly "personal quests" relating to some of your companions. I got and completed the one for Isabella, involving the dagger and pirates and the like, but I also brought Avelline with me and didn't get a personal quest for her, despite others telling me she'd have one. Can I only do one personal quest per runthrough of this DLC or did I miss it somehow?

That picture that is  revealed actually gives you the clue needed to solve the fire ring puzzle if you don't fancy randomly flipping tiles or 'cheat' and look at my first post :wizard:

ETA: Isabela and Aveline where my first playthrough and I was able to get both quests for both of them (Unique quests and the standard DLC companion quest)  Chances are you missed a quest marker but as always there could be a bug.

Thanks for the answers. I didnt speak to the merchant, how foolish.

To understand that right: Isa and Aveline have another quest? I got the one with the pirate medaillons for Isa und the love letters for Ave.

Is there a difference, when you dont go sneaking through the Chateau?

You can have two personal quests because I brought Aveline and Isabela and got both quests.  You have to find a paper that has Aveline's family seal on it.  I don't remember exactly where it was.  However I do remember it looked like a codex entry until I picked it up.  Then I had to go back in the dungeon to finish the quest.  I believe it was on the floor with the vault area.
