ok I know I'm lame but I quit in frustration last night cause I couldn't sneak past the guards. this is where you leave the first balcony and then have to go up some stairs and there is one guard at the top of the stairs and another two on that platform that walk back and forth together? Any hints?
I had trouble with that too. Basically move quickly. Luck is a big factor too with some parts just because of the gaurds placement seems to change over various "do overs" when u get caught and have to restart. It'd be alot easier if the dudes u knock out would STAY knocked out a bit longer. The whole sequance did remind me of playing Hitman for hours on end, trying to get the acheivement for not alerting any gaurds and how mad I'd get when I alllmmmmoooost got it then nooooo! I'd get caught and have to fight it out and thus ruin the acheivment, lol.

If you are talking about the flip puzzles leading to the ring of fire in the middle of the vault then there is a hint. The Orlesian pictures you see when you solve the initial puzzle show the same amount of guys as tiles. You flip the tile over for the guys wearing masks and leave it blank for the ones without masks. That's how I figured it out anyways.
Ohhh. Okay. I was wondering why they seemed to make a big deal out of those fugly paintings, lol. I'll have to take a closer look at them next time cuz I didn't notice anything that related them to the flip puzzles.

I am not sure which one you talk about (presumably the one near the end because that is the tricky one).Raiynsong wrote...

There are two more guards at the far side of the balcony that you need to get past
Knock out the first guard, carefully walk forward by the railing (in the shadow). Wait till the second guard is facing towards the stairs, throw a rock for the third guard and quickly make your way towards the opening to the right of the door. Stay out of the light, turn round at the opening and circle the pillar to the chest. knock out the fourth guard and move forward to the fifth standing near a desk. Wait till the knockout has cooled down and knock him out too. You get the key to the door from him. Now go back, distracting the two back and forth moving guards as necessary and slip through the door.

I'm guessing that it might be buggy for some people and not others. Because I'm stuck here and can't get past it at all. Which is extremely frustrating. Because I would LOVE to finish MotA at some point, but won't be able to if I can't get into the damn vault!

I'm having a problem in the caves below the dungeon. I got the key from the bodyguard and opened the gate. But there doesn't seem to be an exit from the caves. There's two paths that end in a blank white area with no way to get out.
edit - Not a bug. Just a lesson that, if you use console commands, you could end up breaking something.

Hi there! Do we gain anything after solving the tile puzzle at the library? Or just experience?
Edit: and an achievement of course.

For all the people wondering about the Caprice coin quest, if you manage to get all the coins in, I think you're awarded w/ XP and one bonus stat point.
So that's where that stat point comes from! I've finished this DLC about 5 times now, and I never could figure out where that kept coming from. Now I know--thanks!
