A question to those who got MotA early -- which companions do you recommend bringing on this DLC? Which are most plot-relevant?

Thanks for the replies everyone! What about Merrill? Does she have much content here?

Fenris does not have a personal sidequest.
Well you can get his special item, if you can count that as a sidequest.

Is there any mention of your chosen romance interest in this DLC? Can you bring the sibling after Act 1?
Yes, especially if you flirt with Tallis and he/she is in your party. I think you can bring them with you, though not until the second character selection screen. ( don't know why they do that)

I think they all have special items. Got one for Fenris, Varric and on a second investigation found one for Isabela.
I wouldn't call them sidequests. More scavenger hunts with a tiny bit of related banter.

You can bring the siblings with you from when the MotA quest really begins, so after the first ambush!

Does Fenris have a lot of dialogue this time around? Really hope he did not get sidelined like in Legacy. <_<

Well let's say, if you flirt with Tallis every time you have the option he won't like that at all and he will comment on itJilinna wrote...

Ohh, does he finally have a bit of romance dialogue this time? And there is banter between Tallis, Fenris and Hawke about romance, I won't say what it is though.
I loved Fenris's jealousy/protective dialogue from the main DA2 storyline, cannot wait to get him riled up and jealous now!
I think I have to bring a romanced Fenris for my first play through MoTA now! I was not even sure I was going to purchase it before because of the lack of patch for legacy. Since it sounds like there is quite a bit of dialogue in this DLC, and my favourite part is the dialogues/banters, I cannot miss this one!
Thanks for the info!!

I'm going through as a mage with Fenris and Anders. Fenris has a lot of dialogue compared with Legacy, but Anders seems to have very little.
I romanced Anders twice but I am okay if he does not have alot of lines like in Legacy, since he took the spotlight quite a bit there. Does Anders alteast have some romance dialogue? I always found his romance banter awkward at times but always adorable. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/love.png

Yeah, I've seen quite a few mentions about the romance. Between Hawke and her LI (Merrill and Isabela in my case) and Hawke, LI and Tallis (banter and if you choose to flirt with Tallis your LI will have some nice comments).
