Can Tallis pick (difficult) locks? Or would it be good to take a rogue along? Are there even any locks?
She's been able to pick any locks I've come across, not that are many of them (or important ones anyway).

There are a few doors locked, but Tallis has more than 40 cunning, so no need of another rogue..Weltea wrote...

Orlais really does not concern them but I hope it will be interesting with them.

Is the Isabella quest special or just one of the scavenger hunt ones?

You have to take Averline it you want her special quest, but all have scavenger hunt quests to get equipment for them.

Isabela has one special quest with the cursed pirates (in the dungeons), not sure if you meant that one.

Any recommendations on what point in the game to play this DLC?
Imo, after act 2 since there's dialogue about the events that transpired.

Ive played once in Act 3 and theres a lot of talk of "Champion of Kirkwall", driving the Qunari out of Kirkwall, and there was some dialogue about meeting with the ruler of Ferelden.
As for people to bring... I brought Bethany (Warden) and Isabella (LI). Seemed pretty good. Nice banter, the Isabella special quest with the stone pirates, and collecting some pictures for Bethany which lead to a stash of treasure.
I'll have to bring Aveline with me next time. Seems shes got some interesting things in the DLC.

Story wise? Like Legacy, this DLC has some reactive content based on which act and which quests have been completed.
Level wise? I always entered at level 7 and above

He fits in nicely as to why he's there.
Plus some sibling banter. I'm 100% friendship so it was chummy and not bickering haha.
Anders has no reaaaal significance but I took him along as he's my main Hawke's LI and I like having 2 healers.
Just started with my other Hawke and I took Fenris. Acknowledges the romance so that's nice.
Plus he talks about "poopy". Made me laugh.

Fenris does not have a personal sidequest.
Well you can get his special item, if you can count that as a sidequest.
Does Fenris have a lot of dialogue this time around? Really hope he did not get sidelined like in Legacy. <_<![]()
How in the world do you get him to talk? He was nearly silent the entire DLC. I took Aveline and Fenris and both were kinda silent besides Aveline's typical "this is kinda illegal ya know?".

3rd act is good. They make a few references to the things you've done throughtout DA2 if you start later in the game.Vovea wrote...
