Once again, Bioware has released another story based DLC, and once again (to my limited extent of two playthroughs) struck gold in terms of dialogue between NPCs and party members. This thread is to discuss your favorites or memorable moments in MotA:

Fenris: Elves reproduce quickly, we're plucky that way!

Servent 1: You didn't try ze cheeze, did you?
Servent 2: (paraphrased) No, "tastes like dispair!?"

I may not have the text exact, but there's a brief exchange between Tallis and Hawke that I found amusing:

Tallis: What else do you call it when you kill someone in order to take all of their stuff?

Hawke: Adventuring.*

*This was with Isabela (LI) in the party. In a playthrough where Isabela was a LI, but not in the party (replaced by Aveline), Hawke responds with "Murder."

Merrill:  Is it a lot of fun being a guard?
Aveline:  I don't think the city guard is right for you, Merrill.
Merrill:  I've read all about it in Varric's guard serial!  I could be your partner!  We could fight crime together!
Aveline:  Guards don't have partners. Not like he says, anyway.
Merrill:  That's why you need me!  Oh!  We could get matching outfits!
Aveline:  All guards have matching outfits.
Merrill:  But ours would be the matching-est!

Virtually everything Tallis says is comedy gold, I thought. I was genuinely upset when she departed at the end. I was far more attached to her after a few short hours than I was to a few DA1/2 characters after the entire game.

"You go elbow deep in wryvern sh** and I'm the weird one?"

"It hasn't fallen apart! It's just... not entirely cooperating with reality."

"Is that... wyrverns mating?"
"Could we mimic that?"
"No! ...Oh, the noise? Sure, I could try."

Actually Tallis, I didn't mean the noise. Sigh, /forever alone.

Yeah, that's what I got as Purple Hawke too, in an act one save I imported.

Jo does an amazing job as usual. The snarky lines are lol, I'm not all the way through yet..

Fenris saying "Oh, did Hawke step in a poopy?" just about killed me. It was simultaneously the stupidest and greatest thing I've ever seen in a video game.

All the dialogue so far has me crying with laughter!

Haha, yes. The way Lady hawke delivers that line is utterly priceless. Narrow eyed, threatening tone.

Oh yeah! I almost forgot.

"Oh, don't worry, I'm sure the others will be along any moment."

*skips to other companions*

Bethany: Are we out of twine?
Merrill: Yes. I was going to drop breadcrumbs, but we don't have any bread.
Bethany: I can't believe we're this lost!
Merrill: Don't worry! If we keep going, eventually we'll get somewhere! Probably an airing cupboard. I seem to wind up in those a lot.

I hear you, I so hear you. What I would give to have her as a full companion... le sigh. Well there's always DA3 right, eh, maybe?

I loved how the dialogue poked fun at so many things, such as that banter between Merrill and Hawke about how nice it was to be out of Kirkwall for a change. I have also reached the conclusion that Merrill should never be separated from Isabela... they are too awesome together.

Yep, a lot of lines vary according to personality.

I had to laugh when Hawke placed her trust in those two for a rescue XD

As for poking fun at the main game, I liked this too:

Tallis (to Hawke):  You think I would fit into your merry entourage?
Isabela:  Let's see...are you possessed?  Consorting with demons?  A pathological liar?
Tallis:  I have six toes on my left foot.
Isabela:  Eh...close enough.

Actually, the "adventuring" and "murder" responses were both uttered by sarcastic!Hawke for me. So at this point, I can only guess that it's Aveline's presence that changes the reply. Perhaps she was off to the side, scowling in that adorable way of hers.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned Sarcastic Hawke's Horatio Caine moment yet. Because Sarcastic Hawke has a Horatio Caine moment*.

So I am trying to figure out which conversation bits are romance-related. I only have Isabela-romanced saves, so I'll need some corroboration from the peanut gallery on some of my theories (as well as the other LI-related banters and dialogue).

Most likely romance related:

Banters:
- When Tallis asks if Hawke is married, your LI will interject at the end.

Dialogue:

- When the LI arrives to rescue Hawke from the prison
- When flirting with Tallis near the decision point
- Tallis talks about finding purpose to life with the Qun. (Isabela Only? Who does she talk to if Isabela isn't there?)
- Flirting with Tallis at the end, after defeating the Duke.

Not sure if romance related:

Banters:
- Isabela asks Hawke to make Gamlen leave her alone (?)
- Any I missed?

Dialogue:
- Any I missed?

Help me fill in the gaps? Does anyone know if Tallis will kiss Hawke if Hawke has a romance, but just doesn't bring him/her along?

If you click on your LI they will have a romance comment. Izzy says Oh stop you tease.

Also yes, rescuing from the cell tehre is rom,ance dialog. When I had Izzy(romanced) and Aveline, Izzy talked, when I had Izzy and Fenris(romanced Fenris int hat pt) Fenris talked.
