Im at about 25% into the game, have just got the dwarves elves mages and regular humans as allies, where can i at this time in the game find a tome, or whatever it is called, for arcane warrior? Is it a good specialization?

Sure, I love it, I am a Arcane Blood Mage. Oh the irony.
Great fun to play.

Shape shifting in my eyes is to limiting, and I didn't want to RP a healer.
So I RPed a Chaotic Good Blood Mage =P
As to where you find Arcane Warrior; It's in the werewolf lair in the Dalish part of the campaign.

Thanks for the location, can you be more exact?

That dead elf in the werewolf dungeon place, is there some way to talk to her?

It's pretty powerful, and you may have fun with it, I personally find it sort of boring, since you are essentially turning yourself into an autoattack bot. I wouldn't reccomend getting it unless you are planning on tanking with him, if you aren't, you are just gimping your casting for no real gain.

I think its in he second part of the crypts.
There is a room with a glass vial and a table in the corner.
There is a spirit in the vial, talk to it and help it.

Its in the picture where the player is standing. There is no book. Its a mini quest/dialogue with a spirit in the vial.

Thanks, hadn't noticed that arcane warrior spririt, you dont become some sort of possessed if you accept the arcane warrior memories?

But that female elf shade that is by a coffin with an armor in it, is there any way to talk to her?

I don't think there's any way to talk to the female elf shade. And no, you won't become possessed by the arcane warrior memories.

I disagree, since I got the specialization i made Both Wynne and Morrigan Acrane Mages.  Now Morrigan wears the Blood Dragon and Wynne the Juggernaut.  While their combat remains the same as before, spells and long range staff attacks, they no longer get killed all the time.  I used to burn through injury kits for those scrawny mages, now they last just as long as Shale and my Dwarf Warrior PC in slugfests.

keeping staff is indeed less dramatic than going full war route, but still you lose a bit in casting power, mage gloves gives 20% to elemental dmg and a fatigue of 30-40% will mean higher spell costs... not saying it is not worth, just that there is a tradeoff... an AW in armor will be always a worse caster than a "robe mage" (AW or not :P) but on counter he will be indeed more sturdy and harder to take down... if is worth or not is mostly a matter of preference and build

The first point in AW is probably the single most powerful talent buy in the game. The ability to equip heavier armor, even if you never turn on combat magic, is incredibly powerful. There are a number of decent armor sets that would require your mages to have 20 strength to equip. Particularly all the wade's dragon and drake armors.

Nope. The third point in AW is by far the most powerful talent in the game. After it you don't even need armor.
