I am really suprised that there's not a single thread about this. I mean you can love it or hate it, but to ignore it???

Anyway, I love it. I give my full support to Felicia Day and the people behind this project.

Watch it & discuss, share your opinion...

It does, doesn't it. Some people say it looks cheap, but what did they expect?? LOTR?? Game of thrones??? This thing doesn't even have 1% budget that they had. It doesn't even have near the budget "Hercules" series had and it's on par with it.

I am happy to see the Dragon Age setting in a real world. I hope they put in some "easter eggs" from Origins and DA2. I also hope that this is just a sign on how great the whole Dragon Age story will become. I mean two books (third is on the way), mini-series, animation movie...

Thought Doug Jones as the Saarebas seemed a little off; neither his voice nor mannerisms much reminded me of any we saw before, especially his accent. Felicia Day was pretty good, as was the Templar.

I agree. Supernatural doesn't have a super big budget either and it's still a great show.

I liked the fight scenes in Redemption and those daggers looked wicked. I want a pair for Christmas!

Maybe I'm easy to please, but I'm actually surprised by how good the costumes and make-up look, especially that Templar armor. I was expecting some cheap LARP, tbh.

Now let's just wait and see how they deal with the Dalish :D

It's quite cool that the Dragon Age universe expands (books, movie, etc.) - so considering this there's little to moan about. Personally I would much prefer more stuff like "Warden's Fall" but I think the new web series has its legitimacy, too. So I am already looking forward to the next episode.

I liked it a lot! Not sure the Qunari really work on screen, but as noted they don't exactly have a million dollars for CGI. I'm awaiting an explanation for why Doug Jones' Sarebaas is so chatty (even if the Chantry got his collar off and cut the thread that held his mouth shut, shouldn't he still have scars?) but I dare say some explanation for that will be forthcoming eventually.

I was amazed how very, well, Dragon Age the whole thing felt. Taking a lot of the armor designs straight from the games helped a lot, as did the appearance of the murder knife ... It was cool to see Thedas done in live action.

Unfortunately it broke the "show, don't tell" rule in the first 30 seconds.

And the cinematography is in the style of "Star Wars fan films" (odd considering just how long the credits run).

The first shot we see of Kirkwall is much less impressive than the first shot of Kirkwall we see in DA2. Missed opportunity.

And I learned very little about Tallis, though it seems that she is an elven Rogue who can cleave a good bone and fend off badasses with her flips (and by "badasses", I mean guys who like to collect ears).

Still, with all this I think they should keep going with it. If this series can improve the next DA game installments in any way, then that is a good thing (this doesn't mean I necessarily agree with Kirk Hamilton, however).

Love it, too. Acting's good, and make up, costumes, scenery etc look very good for a webseries -- I don't get people's complaints, except for the Qunari...

Excited about the impending lore on the Qun, and especially the Saarebas!

I am quite pleased with the first episode. I like that Tallis is the typical angry "Don't-you-calling-me-Knife-ears!" kind of elf assassin.
I look forward to the next, and the one after that. Even if the Qunari looked a bit funny, I still thing they did a hell of a good job.

Considering the Qunari want Doug Jones's Saarabas dead it make sense for him not to behave like faithful Qunari. Liked the templar a lot and the fighting is well done. I'd give it a 7.5 so far.

Watched it and thought it was great.

The Kossith are weird looking, but yeah, its a web series and there aren't many humans who are Kossith size. I'll get used to it.

I laughed when the Templar was slowly shuffling/stumbling down the the hill.

What did you expect with all that armor?

Andraste was a prophet, not a God. Other then that, it was alright.

What? Tallis only got attacked by one templar? No waves of generic helmeted templars with the occasional assassin and lieutenant thrown in? no?

WHERE IS MY BUTTON AWESOME BIOWARE, WHERE IS IT.

You forget that Ms. Day was a big fan of Origins....
She probably cooked up this character long before DA2.

All in all, I really enjoyed it. Even if the Kossith are a bit cheesy... It's impressive for a small budget!

Its only natural that a person who isn't the same religion would mistakenly assume Andraste  being a God if they didn't know.

I'm not really sure why I should care about Tallis or anyone else in this video. Qunari murderers don't naturally get my sympathy.

Good point.
The Qunari look okay. Not great but okay, considering the low budget.Although I think they shouldve used regular fake fingernails painted with black marker for a more realistic look.It still would've been really cheap.Ah, but I digress...
The Templar was cute and his armor looked similar to the DA2 appearance.Felicia did a good job and the other actors as well.I'm hoping they stay true to the lore.
My opinion is that it's decent. It could be better, could be worse. At least it's entertaining.I'll watch subsequent episodes to see how it pans out.

Well it's only the first episode, that doesn't mean she will go around and kill in their name the whole time. I guess she will eventually turn against them and have a romance with the templar.

What gives me hope is that Felicia is a big fan of Origins, I guess she got sucked in the Dragon Age world as all of us did and she's doing it out of love for the whole story/setting. Considering her popularity she could have done a web-series about anything else, but she chose Dragon Age.

...and as the person above me said, I too hope they stay true to the lore.
