There also other Webseries and fan-made films of other games out there. All of them looks much better und has a higher quality then this... embarrassment. :sick: 

BTW: Since when have elves beards? :whistle: 

Redemptions isn't thrash, it's trash.

i like it, don't know why so many people say it looks cheap, it's a webseries were people thinking that it would be like game of thrones.

I can't understand how can someone that loves Dragon Age bash this so easily and quickly, it's only the first episode that had like 7 minutes of story. I mean it's ok to have a critical mind and to say that some things are bothering you... but to call it trash?? I know when something is low quality and trash, given my experience in editing and filming I think that I have developed sufficient taste and acquired knowledge about this stuff, and this doesn't deserve being called that.

Already with the troll comments?  Come on.  True, Redemption is not trash, but it's not awesome either.  The beginning was shot ok, but the rest still looks a bit too much like cosplay in the woods.  The Templar armor he's wearing totally needs a hi-res texture pack.

Instead of being all stealthy and mysterious like a rogue-assassin might be, she back-flipped her way onto the battlefield and announced "I'm Tallis and I work for the Qunari!"  And her facial expression read "I'm Felicia Day and I'm in a Dragon Age show!"   This isn't the Guild anymore, it's someone else's IP and reputation at stake.  Upgrade the cinematography, focus on the writing, and to help ease the pressure maybe scale down the appearances to special-guest-star ones after a while.

Also, I hope that in addition to easter eggs and references to games/books/etc., every episode will show us something NEW about Dragon Age that we haven't seen before, whether it's a section of Kirkwall or an area of Sundermount or what.  Patrick Stewart always says that in every episode of STTNG his goal was to bring out some aspect of Captain Picard that we never saw before, and I hope those who are involved with this production will heed that approach.

A part of me is just hoping they slip in an easter egg about the wave combat in DA2 with Tallis just getting swarmed by faceless mercenaries or something.

it's my own opinion in addition. 
if you can't accept other opinions, that's natural your problem... 
that is a public forum, not for fanboys/girls only - you know? ;) 

so, in my opinion, the redemption web-series is cheap, garbage, trash. ...accept it, or not - is all the same to me

It was enjoyable to watch, but I had some problems with it.

The Qunari didn't seem like Qunari to me - reminded me more of the lich from the dungeons and dragons movies, to be honest. It looks like they did up their hands to be long and creepy looking - that, and their mannerisms, I think, are what gave me that impression.

It also bothered me at the end when she asked about, "Your god here's called Andraste, right?" It came off to me like she didn't know who Andraste was, which led me to wonder what kind of rock Tallis lives under. And the guy's like, "yes, blah blah blah," when Andraste....isn't their god?

But yea, overall those were minor annoyances. I'm looking forward to seeing where the series goes.

I expected it to be cool for web series. No reason to hate Felicia's work just because of Dragon Age 2.

That, my dear, would be awesome* :D. Not sure they can afford all the extras though, or the airborne combat logistics.

Okay, I admit it. This was pretty cool.

My initial response when I heard about this project was a pretty big "DO NOT WANT." I expected it to be pretty outrageously cheesy and while I LIKE Felicia Day, I wasn't sure if she could play anything that wasn't socially awkward and adorable. But I decided to give it one episode and -- you know what?

It's actually pretty sweet. I'm not sure there was enough time spent establishing the story and I'm pretty sure it's going to end up looking very rushed, but so far ... I'm a fan, actually! Yeah. Looking forward to next episode.

That said, I'm still not convinced it's not going to go to crap soon, but for now ...

I really think the customes are bad, even for a web series. I mean, some cosplays look better!

But what RELLY bugged me, was some inconsistencies with the DA lore!

Excluding the horror that was seeing an elf with a beard I loved it! Really, the mix of Tallis being all cute(I'm Tallis! I work for the Qunari! Yay!) and being sadist and bloodthirsty(say hi to Andraste for me *evil eyes*) is golden, and it reminds me of the other Boware characters that go this way(Leliana, Merrill, Liara...).
I'm really excited to next Tuesday so I can watch more DA:R!

I like a little cheese on biscuits at the end of a good meal, I do not however want my entire repast to consist of such fare. I had to watch machinimas Wardens Fall again to get the taste out of my mouth.

Watched it twice. Loved it. (But I am a bit overly obsessed by the qunari.)
