I thought it was alright. If it wasn't Dragon Age, I probably wouldn't watch it, but it is, so I will. :P

On a related note, until today I had absolutely no idea who Felicia Day was, but after watching youtube clips of her at various conventions (especially the "carpet" question at Blizzcon), she seems cool as hell. To take that kind of crap in stride and laugh about it -- I wish more people were like that. :P

Do you mean what I think you mean?

.  Funny stuff. :P

I thought it was surprisingly good! I'll be honest, my expectations were low. I thought the Qunari looked great and the pacing was quick and effective.

Great job!

I love Day, I really do, but her character here just flip flops way too much, from some type of butcher/slave, to master thief, to jokester (during fight), to cold blooded killer. What the heck is she supposed to be? Have a personality for goodness sake and stick to it.

Overall it looked like a cosplay that had a little money to spend on effects, but I've seen better cosplay's like this for Half-Life 2 and others, and they didn't have BioWare backing them. All things considered, I think it should have been a lot better as I have seen completely amature vids that were better.

But I love The Guild. Just saying...

I would have thought that Tallis would know who Andraste is. She said she grew up around humans and has the accent of a City Elf. She also said she wasn't born to the Qun. Even Isabella knows who Andraste is and she grew up in Rivain. Some of Tallis' dialogue sounds sort of like it's exposition for new fans, (No! my name is Tallis! And I work for the Qunari!") but other than that there wasn't anything too bad.

I thought it was fun and they did a good job. I thought it was a little choppy but not more than you see on tv shows, and hopefully it'll come together as the series progresses.

Think I would have improved ..

1: The armor . They looked too much perfect and clean .. Like even NEW . The plate did not look heavy at all (The templar armor ) and Felicia armor was cute but  would have helped if it's was more 'rag'  .

2 : Her performance was okay but it's very tough to give a good argument for a 9 minutes long video. It's was very short and in nine minutes so much happened. How many scene in 9 minutes? Anyay it's clear it's was made for the fan because anyone who don't know about DA:O would be completely lost.

Fun to watch, but thought the templar armor looked way to much like plastic to be taken seriously.

The templar is the best but his armor isn't.

people who say it looks too cheap need to get real lifes and need to relize its a web series that was made with little to no budgets whatosever normally done out of compasion and because its a fun little hobbie and people need a little more imagination. and nobody forcing you to watch it. i though it was great for a webisode.

Or maybe it is you who should get "real life" if you can't handle other poeple's opinions.
And yeah - no one is forcing you to read those comments and **** about them.

I'm on the fence at the moment. Can only pass judgement after seeing a couple more episodes.

I enjoyed it.  I was actually impressed with the costumes, make-up, and sets.  They've obviously put a lot of work into this, and I'm enjoying it so far.  Also interested to see if it'll tie into the story of Mark of the Assassin or DAII more.  And Felicia Day is adorable, and very easy to watch.

When does the second episode come out?  Sometime this week?

EDIT:  Nevermind, link was right above this one.  Whoops!

I really dislike the text at the beginning. Looks shoddy.
Would be much better narrated.

E: Just finished the episode. While some the dialogue is a bit wooden, I enjoyed it a lot more than the first episode though I'm not sold on the Keeper's First yet.

Much better than I thought it would be. I've never watched a web series before, it's not really my thing, but it was fun to see the Dragon Age universe come to life. Sure it had the amateur "cheap" look to it but that's to be expected. I'll happily watch the rest.

The second episode was fun too, but I'm beginning to think I'd enjoy them more by not watching them until the series is done and then watching them all in a big marathon session.

edit: or maybe not-so-big... how many episodes will there be?

Less talking, more fighting! And to answer what Satyricon331 said, there are a total of six episodes planned I think.

I liked the new episode. Very "how the hero meets their companions" thing that we get in-game :D

Not so sure about the Dalish, though. But it's true that I (as, I think, most people) have a very clear head-image, which inevitably clashes with flesh and blood rendition, no matter the quality and budget.

And Felicia Day is adorably dangerous in that role.

That was a little stronger than the first episode, as there was some room for exposition and the characters were fleshed out a bit.

FD does a surprisingly good job as an ass-kicker.

Episode 2 was cool, like surely mentioned felt kind of like a game, the way Tallis is meeting companions. The female elf that gives an overview of what happend at the camp sounded a bit like the voice of the keeper in da2. Anyway good stuff cant wait to see the third episode.

Cairn: Where is your Keeper? I would speak with him.
Dalish Elf: He was taken months ago … by templars.

Awwwwwwkward.

One of the things I noticed is that they're following the designs from DA2 rather than Origins for most of the props; the aravels, for instance, and Cairn's shield both look like gear from DA2.

True but I find the actual plot makes me think more of dragon age: origins, I think the music at the begining is from origins too.

Edit: From the begining of the second episode I mean.
