It's strange, no matter how many times I try, I just can't seem to get two golf balls to balance on each other. It's not supposed to be hard, because their uneven textures allow for two nearly identical edges to meet, which should in turn allow for balancing. And I went to school for nearly a decade studying physics, so I believe that I'm at least marginally qualified to perform a task that requires a knowledge of basic physical laws in our plain of existence. But it seems that all I have worked for, all I have spent so long attempting to achieve will be undone by a task so seemingly mundane that it must in essence be a task of infinitely importance. Or at least, that how it would seem, since the task has me, a man who is considered to be someone of great intelligence, completely enthralled. I suppose that I should set this task aside, leave it for some youth of a future generation, a time when the knowledge I hold will be common for small children. Or maybe, in the abundance of advanced knowledge, the most simplistic of things, will seem as the most impossible.
