My two cents...
I'm a female gamer and very new to the DA world. I haven't opted to play Origins yet, but I was intrigued by the characters at the party, especially the underpants guy.
My positive feedback....
It takes a certain type of genius to invent interactive wyvern poo.
You have pretty eyes. Yes, that alone was worth the money.
As a woman, I can wholeheartedly say that I couldn't give a wyvern's left buttock about Hawke's party attire. Actually, the colors were feminine, plus the odd comment from an NPC about Hawke being too pretty to be the champion, did enough to make me feel feminine. The clothes do not define the woman. She does that through her actions. I think I just said something profound. I'm scared.
The chateau architecture and grounds were lovely.
The choreography and facial expressions were very excellent. Eyebrows say it all.
What's more important, and probably at the top of the list for many female gamers ( and I don't really care if it is. It's at the top of mine) would be to make Fenris half-naked, naked or lying under the covers with Hawke having pillow talk. What's the point in bushes if you can't use them? Blatant flirting wouldn't go amiss either nor would another sex scene. Let's be one with nature. They seem close these days. It's too bad Fenris didn't discover the mating wyvern's first!
I have no shame.
Gideon Emery was great as always.
Seriously, I loved this new DLC. The scenery was in stark contrast to Kirkwall, which made me feel as if I had traveled far from home. It was lush and brimming with life. Too bad it was inhabited by the Orlesians

Fenris hated the dirt even if it was pretty :/
Hawke came to life for me in this add-on. I have always played as a female Hawke. I guess I don't have what it takes to be hairy and manly. I loved her expressions when she spoke freely to passerby's about avoiding certain foods. (I think avoid the cheese platter was the line?)
Tallis was occupied during this time and Hawke was trying to divert attention. (I don't think that is too much of a spoiler) . Sometimes, the minor expressions are the best. This is just one example that didn't seem to be a spoiler. Trust me, there are many others I could cite. But I won't. That would be boring.
I was aghast concerning the ghasts. I'm undecided about ghasts. They reminded me of mutated smurfs for some reason. I did like the insane giggle.
I noticed that there may be horses in Thedas or someone used a classical painting.
It was nice to get away from the Mage/Templar problems
Legacy was an entertaining add-on, but I preferred the less bleak environment of MotA. Yes, the bleak environment was fitting for Legacy. I guess I like my water without fire.
The dialogue was excellent between companions. My favorite being Anders and Fenris. I am convinced that those two were an old married couple in a past life.
The puzzles
Peaceful solutions. I'm a hippy.
May I just add, since this will probably be my only post, that Fenris was superbly written from beginning to end in DAII. He is one of the best imagined game characters of all time.
My complaints....
I was ambivalent when it came to Tallis. She didn't evoke the emotion that the other voice actors in DA II managed to accomplish. It's a high standard. I feel spoiled.
I did get Tallis to survive longer after the second play through. But, unfortunately, because of my ambivalence towards her, I often left her foaming at the mouth on the ground instead of reviving her.
I would have preferred my companions to stay with me during the party. I'm insecure and need their constant presence. Actually, I just wanted Fenris to sniff the cheese platter and make faces.
More dialogue triggers
More companion quests and evolution of their lives. Maybe the companions bring a friend. I'd love to hear Donnic, Fenris, Aveline, Izzy and Hawke converse. I'd suggest Hawke throw a party, but Meredith would crash it.
The boss fight was a tad too long.
I'd prefer a main quest that involves a character, whether living or dead, that has deep significance to Hawke. Tallis felt more like something that belonged in a DA II side quest. I hope that doesn't sound too snarky.
I'd like the special new armour to look unique. The headpiece did nothing for my mage.
Sneak sequence, though, to be honest, I just like to hit things so that is probably why it didn't appeal.
