As is typical with these sorts of things, discontent has spread, and yet another new server has been spawned. The name of this one is The Gray Isles. The reason behind it; the prevalence of favoritism and misuse of power amongst DMs, amongst a very great many other issues. The result is a brand new server, with faces both fresh and old, contribuing to a shining new world.
This is intended for those with a love of roleplaying, and a desire to be somewhere that a player can truly feel a part of the world in, where the actions, triumphs and defeats of a player will shape the world itself. Currently, the world is under construction, and soon to start its beta run. It will be set in a forgotten realms setting, with custom lore, to remedy a few problems encountered in the past. If you're interested, or simply curious, come check us out. Who knows, perhaps you'll decide you want to give it a try, when the time comes. We would love to have you, and at the very least, I'd enjoy meeting you.

Welcome to the community.
Suggest you lurk on IRC as you get things set up ( see main forums for thread describing how to get on ). That way you know what other PW's are doing, dealing with and can coordinate things to a degree. You also can post what you are dealing with and get some basic guidance on how to tackle issues from those who've been around the block a few times.

Well, without going too into depth, the administrators and DMs have been around for a while, many of them having worked with and on major PW's. Right now, were more looking for interested players, than anything else, although as the saying goes, "help is always welcome."

Its a combination of Baldur's Gate, Dalelands Beyond, and a smattering of a few other PW's. You've heard the tales, probably, since it seems to get around fast. Problems with this and that. I thank you for the well wishing, and invite you to happen by, when we get things up and running, if only to say hello, and have a drink.
