I really enjoyed the background conversations Shepard got to overhear during Mass Effect 2, as well as the small side missions you could do to make their lives better. Does anyone else support greater NPC interaction in the next game?

I would like them all back and have more things to say at different times. Their banter made the game for me. Especially Joker.

I like hearing conversations as Shepard moves about the Normandy. Just wish that they also moved about the ship ... asking too much?

Not only was there great banter to these two but I got to the point where i would wait to talk with them about the t-6 couplings until after Tali was recruited. Just that little bit of Ken asking Tali to join makes that 2 minute encounter feel like a real moment between Shep and the crew both squad and non squad. ME3 could do well to include more of this I think.

I'd love to have the ME2 Normandy crew back, although certain crew members express a strong support for Cerberus so I'm not sure they'd work under the Alliance banner.
Doctor Chakwas is a must though! After having a drink with her in the med bay I'd love to see her have a part through to the end of the trilogy.

Yeh, probably.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere Bioware confirmed the Normady crew wouldmove around this time, the ship will feel more lively and the squad mates interact with each other on the ship

I want the crews of the SR1 and SR2 to combine with a couple of specialists from other races. Give me a salarian or quarian mechanic, give me a volus merchant as a requistions officer in the cargo hold, give me a turian bartender. most of all give me security guards at the door again. I miss being saluted by those ME1 marines.
