And once again Hawke looks like a fool.

Well.... at least we know who is to blame if the Qunari curbstomp Thedas thanks to the informations of their spies. To bad that all Hawke cares about seems to be shiny stuff.

I'm already getting excited for the next DLC. I want to know at what Hawke fails next. Darkspawn, Qunari.... maybe he could help some Tevinter Blood Mage Magisters next time, thanks to his indifference.

I'm sorry. You did get the option tonot help her.

I'm only by the wywern fight with the orlesian crybaby wow I could not believe what I saw right there. Well I'm playing on nightmare and the game is kicking my ass even though I took an unconventional party there Tallis isabela aveline mage havke I only got 1 person who does brittle combos so its hard.

Now what I want to say why the hell didn't they make the whole game like Legacy and MotA I mean common that would make the game perfect.

Because they didnt have the benfit of fan feedback to help smooth the core game's rough edges.  That's my theory, anyway.

I did this great DLC att the beginning of ack 3. I cant inv Bethany(warden) to the group. Do i need to do Legacy first to have that option?

First of all I'd like to say that you guys did a great job with the Orlesians (especially the Duke).I envisoned them as a petulant people with refined tastes and a wont for scandal. You didn't fail to deliver. I'm looking forward to visiting Orlais if it's being considered for a future installment.
Being outside of Kirkwall in the forest was like a breath of fresh air.The environments were lush and colorful, and  the hunt was a nice change of pace. The wyverns looked awesome and the Ghasts made me giggle with their high-pitched noises.
Tha party was a delightful addition; it gave us a peek into the Orlesian lifestyle.Sarcastic Hawkes witty dialogue, along with the nobles comments, was hilarious.
Being able to sneak around and distract the guards was exciting; it made me anticipate my next move.
I liked the puzzles and the color mixing to open doors, it was fun and I felt like my companions were more involved.

Even though I liked this DLC, there were a few things that irked me.One of them was the fact that we couldn't get the scroll from Tallis as others have said. And my Hawke just stood there and let Tallis calmly walk away.I'm surprised Tallis didn't run off swiftly in fear. Then again, she is an assassin and I guess Hawke is renowed for his/her fighting prowess? A kind of mutual respect thing? *shrug* I felt like we didn't get to know Tallis that well. The other problem is when we're traveling through the map where we have to go to the ruins, if we go down another path to fight the Tal-Vashoth, then the path is blocked to the Warrior's Legacy Cache and we can't complete it.Also, I would've liked a personal quest for all companions not just Isabela and Aveline.A cutscene with our LI or being able to kiss them at least once would have been nice.
Lastly, I have to say I don't know if the Ghasts fit well into the game.Even though I like them, they seem somewhat out of place. We haven't encountered them in Sundermount before or in Origins so why was there a dense population in MoTA? Are they only native to that specific area? Maybe I need to read the codex?

Overall,I thought MoTA was good if not slightly better than Legacy.

Did anybody load their DA:O save where they gave Kaitlyn money and she became a business woman in Denerim and married Bann Teagan? Does she show up at the party? I might have to try it...

verdict: Excellent DLC, a little better than Legacy

+ Enviroments
+ Orlesians
+ Meet with old pels
+ Side quests
+ New creatures (especially "goblins" :D this is better name for them ;) )

- Ending

As i said in my lone topic about this piece of story:

I dont mean Tallis. Shes funny. But, Bioware...Why you destroy very good DLC story by nonsence in ending? Again?

In Legacy, I thought, that Corypheus is alive. no matter what. Strange, but reasonable, cause Hawke hadnt knowledge about Blight and Archdemons. In Larius, he will be weaker and without support, in Janeka, he infiltrate Gray Wardens by his deadly influence. So there actually was a choice, after all. I hope.

BUT in MotA, there ISNT any choice,:

- i cant kill Tallis
- i cant punch Tallis
- i cant save Duke
- i cant take the scroll

For price 800, i have everything, but most important thing - big choices - i havent.

Is this some kind of bug, like with Witch Hunt, where missed final savepoint?

Thanks for DLC with default unchangeable ending, without good reason to explain.

And if there actually IS some a choice, can you be gentle and tell me WHERE? Would you kindly?

Did anyone bring Anders and Fenris? Hilarious dialogue between those two XD

I have to admit, I hated Tallis. My Hawke is a sweetheart, so even if the option were there, I wouldn't let him kill her. But she was annoying. I rolled my eyes at all the flirtation attempts, but that's cool. I'm sure some people are into her, and that's fine.

The story was okay, but it just kind of whets our appetite for what's going to happen next, you know?

I thought the romance dialogue was nice <3 Fenris admits to Hawke that he was scared when Hawke disappeared. Did you guys get that one? I wonder what the other romance dialogues (for other romanced characters) is. So cute.

I always play on casual (I play for the story), so I was surprised by that little fight in the hunting grounds with the evil spirit dude and the mages ... where the game sort of traps you in a "sacred circle" type arena. I just died, and died, and died, and died again.

Guess I'll never get to read that Book of the Lady lol

I really had a blast playing this DLC last night. As others have said the party banter was great. I brought along Anders (love interest) and Aveline. Anders asks Hawke about her father a bit in one party banter and then there is also a little bit with him when they are trying to find Hawke and Tallis in the dungeon. It would have been nice if you could have been at the party with your love interest for a bit and had a dance or something, but whatever. The only thing that actually bugged me about this DLC was the get up they put Fem Hawke in for the party. Could Fem Hawke not look a little more like a woman (I like Tallis's outfit), but Fem Hawke was wearing exactly what Male Hawke wears and she looked like a dude. Other than that I thought it was pretty fantastic for a DLC and stayed up late just to finish it.

Played it. Liked it. It was pretty good. Wish I could have stuck a dagger in Tallis at the end and taken the scroll.

I took Merrill and Isabella with a sarcastic mage Hawke and a templar Carver. He wasn't available to join me for whatever reason.

Merrill and Tallis actually have some nice banter about Hawke's relationship with Merrill.

(after defeating Leopold and Prosper)

Tallis: You know, I'm actually jealous of you.
Merrill: *laughs* Oh don't be jealous....okay, be a little jealous.

I got the distinct impression that Teagan was tasked by his elder brother wtih babysitting Isolde while she attended the party.

^ I was wondering where Eamon was during all this - more fuel to the Teagan/Isold rumors.

My review so far- HATE Tallis & the VA. Sorry to those of you that like her, but I would rather adventure with Isolde.
