MotA: Qunari questions (Spoilers)

1. Why does Tallis have a name? Why does Salit have a name? I thought the Qunari didn't have names, they just had titles. Was the Arishok's name "The Arishok"?
2. Why would there even be a list of Qunari names? It seems the concepts are at war with each other.
3. Why do Salit and his followers still have their horns? I thought they cut their horns off to show they weren't following the Qun anymore.
Thoughts?

But I guess it will take a $20 DLC to explain everything

2. Why would there even be a list of Qunari names? It seems the concepts are at war with each other.

Thoughts?
1. Maybe because she's a qunari agent in a foreign country and needs to blend in (ben Hassrath being the enforcers/assassins who make sure the qunari behave)?
2. The codenames/aliases of qunari agents spying for the qun, they'd stand out a bit if they'd all be called by their titles
3. Don't most of the tal-vashoth in DA2 have horns? No idea tbh.

Why would they even be operating in foreign lands when they are supposed to be overseeing the Qunari themselves? Wouldn't overseeing the Qunari require Qunari to oversee?

Hunting down the tal-vashoth or others who are threat to the qun (in the web series Tallis is sent after some qunari mage I think) ?

Watching the first episode of Dragon Age: Redemption will answer at least one of your questions

I vaguely recall Tallis mentioning that her mission to stop Salit is a personal one and that she is no longer part of the Ben-Hassrath if you follow the information lines during your conversation in your cell.hoorayforicecream wrote...

Although I may be mistaken.

I like how Mary translated everything except his name "The Sten" I assumed it was Sergeant, Captain or Lieutenant seeing as it's a military title.
It means "Infantry platoon commander."
.
His brothers in the Fade are "private" (karashok) and "scout" (ashaad).
Edit: Also his name? No. Qunari don't use them to identify themselves, their "names" are strings of genealogical information used by the Tamassrans for record keeping.
I understood the group to be a cross between the FBI and the CIA. They're watching everywhere, both within the nation and outside its borders.

1. It's not her name. What "Tallis" means is covered in the web series. "Salit" and "Arishok" are also job titles.
2. The "names" are their aliases. The list is a NOC list of Qunari agents.
3. They don't all cut off their horns. Many of them do it because they think it makes them look scarier.

Hey, I can't help it if my Hawke is greedy and easily seduced by beautiful women.Wulfram wrote...
Well, if the Qunari conquer Thedas I guess we'll know Hawke is to blame. As usual.

I get that a mage Warden being compared to Qunaron Vehl is because the Warden is a "unicorn". However a mage Hawke gets attacked by Arvaarad just for revealing he is a mage. Yet the Arishok declares him Basilit-an. I get that the Arishok wouldn't have know Hawke was a mage until their duel, but three years later Hawke delivers the lost swords to Taarbas and gets called Ben-Hassrath.
Why so many inconsistencies? How does mage Hawke get a "Qun Pass"? Shouldn't he be treated with the same suspicion as he was in Act I? Also this is what I wanted to bring up the most when Tallis was defending the Qun from Hawke.
