Most of the days we live through end up feeling routine - Head to Work, maybe turn on the computer and play something, then subsequently rage about it on message boards. However, there are certain key moments in our lives that shape us in unexpected ways, a path vastly different than what might have been. Which one(s) changed you into the person you are today?

The day I met my future self ten years ago, where I was informed on the path I would take in life and the pitiful fools who would bring my Just and great Empite down with a rebelion. I have taken steps in dealing with them so they will not be a threat in the furture. Funny enough one of these folks found a cure for cancer, hahaha lets see him cure Cancer 6 feet down in the Swamp >>, The rest I have corrupted or I keep an eye on. Some are here on the BSN. Oh how little they know. How little indeed...

A life? Never had one. Lol.
But seriously, I think the only single day that ever changed my life was when I decided to come here... Oh how much time I've spent here....
Other than that, my life has pretty much been the same thing day in, and day out, any changes have been really gradual and can't be pinpointed to one day.

I've had three clear triggers in my life, all of which had led to fairly significant changes;

1) The end of my first relationship.
2) The realisation that I was both wrong and that I had a drug addiction.
3) Joining BSN a couple of years ago.

Well, among the most important... I would say when I fell in love (and Im still with her, by the way). She has changed me, and is such a big part of my life. I would also say that being very depressed last year had an impact on my lifes direction.

I'd say BSN changed my life, before BSN I fiercely hated whiny, pathetic trolls. Now I relish in trolling those whiny, pathetic trolls! Oh and if it wasn't for BSn I'd never have discovered ponies =D

- Before I met my first boyfriend, I thought all guys were ****s because of my past life. (Yes, I was a total lezzie.) He made me give him a chance, so I did but I was very skeptical about it...But then I grew to love him and realised that men are no different than women. Without his help, I probably wouldn't of even graduated from high school, or even attempted to go to university. I would be on the streets, because my mother is a useless ****, or at least was at the time. I cannot thank him enough for everything he's done...He's impacted my life in such a positive way. We were together for 4 years.

- My girlfriend and friends helping me through this crap that I am in right now. Soon, I shall taste freedom again!

Normally, it's not rare for the siblings of grandparents to die, even early on in one's life, but my mother is only eighteen years older than myself, and my grandparents are just now in their early sixties.

Anyway, my great uncle Raymond died of a massive heart attack. The kindest, most intelligent, bravest man I've ever known, one who was a recovering addict and had just gotten clean for a good, a vet with a heart condition, died. He'd been around in my life since the beginning, almost daily, and was more than a good friend. He'd often sport a shaven head and let me draw on his baldness with dry-erase markers. He loved me, loved all of us, so much.

He died when I was probably about seven or eight. It was incredibly tragic and it's desensitized me to death, among other things.

Most of mine are entirely too personal to share. Two are religious in nature and are probably forbidden here.

One might serve as exemplar and warning to others. After the State Bar results were announced a group of us gathered here in Atlanta to be sworn in. After the ceremony we all went to a local restaurant/bar to celebrate.

The maitre d' noticed we were all pretty jubilant and asked what the occasion was. My friend told him we were all now attorneys. He congratulated us. Then he said he was admitted two years ago, and pointed out the bartender, three waitresses and a busboy who were also attorneys.

None of us have ever forgotten that moment.

Things got really screwy for me when I joined 6th form. (Which is like higher education that high schools can do in the UK after the mandatory years) and I just couldn't cope for some reason. After dropping out from there I went to a college and started anew in an IT course. (A subject I had never studied before but had great desire to learn)

Been gaining nothing but the best grades in everything so far, and I have plans to go to University to take a course in game design or animation. Ironic, how your big screwups in life actually are the catalyst for moving onto better things. Of course, history can repeat itself...

Given I hate most lawyers and the current system of Law I can't help but laugh at this.

I haven't really had any life-altering experience to speak of but I know my overall view of the world hasn't been the same since the day I looked up at the sky through a telescope.
