So I am at the gate puzzle, and unlike most folks I have seen here, I have had no trouble looting any of the chests.

HOWEVER, now the gates surrounding the exit of the area have shut back down and I have spent the last two hours trying to get them open again.  Does anyone have any idea how to manage this?

They opened automatically for me when I FINALLY was able to loot the chest and amulet out of the blue. Are you sure you looted everything? The chest and the item on top of it? A letter on one side and an amulet on the other - well at least that's how it was for me, don't know if it's the same items for different party members u take along.

Easy, won't let me take the amulet though =(

On the left I got the love letter and the feathers (I have Aveline and Anders with me.

It won't let me loot the chest on the right side, thought I had, but I guess it didnt work.

No matter, I finally made it work. Restarted the entire test and it worked without issue
